I found the easiest way is my 2 cup glass Pyrex measuring cup in the microwave. It only takes a minute and a half then I let it sit and continue melting for a minute. It may be ready to pour or I may microwave another minute. I have refilled the same large wide “bread bowl” style wooden candle twice with this and once with another kit of just wax, and I am still using wicks from this kit. My candle needs 7 wicks so I drilled holes in some pop cycle sticks I had since the kit only comes with 2 sticks to prop up the wicks. The colors have been fun, still have a lot of color left after using up the wax. Currently about to buy this a second time.

Some of the wicks that came with have bent bases so they don't sit flat on whatever surface your using. Otherwise, the wax is super easy to work with, the colors are vibrant and having the centering stick is sooo helpful. The packaging was a little tight however. The colored blocks did come cracked apart but it's because everything was so tightly packed in the tinyes box they could make.

This kit is perfect for someone that is maybe just starting out in candle making. The wax is high quality material. The color of the dye is right on point, and easy to use. With this kit also including wicks, wick stickers, and even includes wick stabilizers, to help hold the wick straight and firm. All in all, I would definitely recommend this kit!!

There was a crack is the lip of the pot, and then some weird puncture in the “magic paper”. Not nearly as much candle wax as I thought there’d be, was able to make three small candles and a halfway-filled medium sized candle but wish I could’ve made more, especially since as a beginner I was just starting to get into the groove of things. Wicks don’t stick to the stickers, so when I pour the wax in they pop up and swim around in the wax instead of staying centered. I’ve found that if I pour just enough wax to cover the bottom of the wick and then let that settle and harden, I can pour the rest without it moving. Other than those, no complaints.

My wife asked me to order her a kit for a candle making craft night she was going to with some friends. This was the best kit I found for including lots of tools and minimal additional purchases being required. All she needed was a fire safe container to make the candle in (she ended up using an old empty candle jar) and something to scent the wax (she used essential oils which we already owned). There is more than enough wicks for many more projects. Now we only have to order more wax when she wants to make more candles. Highly recommend for a craft night party!

Très sympa pour des cadeaux personnalisés : le kit arrive complet avec cire de soja, mèches, petit pot de fabrication et papier décoratif, donc on peut commencer tout de suite sans chercher du matériel en plus. L’utilisation est simple et ludique ; c’est devenu une petite activité créative à faire avec ma fille de 5 ans en restant toujours sous surveillance d’adulte, et le rendu final est propre et parfumable selon l’envie.
