Perfect fit! Saved me money since I did not need to buy a new bike rack. Easy to replace.

This fits my 1 inch bike rack tube nicely. There is even a screw to tighten the cradle onto the bike rack tube. The strap has good elasticity to tie down the bike. My biggest concern is whether the plastic components will crack or break over time due to sun exposure and age.

These are exactly what I needed, and now I don’t need a new bike rack.

The plastic on these is very soft, bolts strip out if tightened too much and entire cradle splits in half after a few uses, especially in warm weather.

I used these to replace the cradles on my old Bell trunk bike rack, which were falling apart due to dry rot. They were very easy to install and fit perfectly. They have a small screw in the bottom that lets you tighten them to the bike rack bar a bit. The elastic straps fit very snugly and securely, which is great, but it can be difficult to wrestle them on and off. The cradles themselves are a bit more stiff than I expected, but they do have some flexibility, so they can accept larger top tubes. Not sure if that flexibility will be limited in cold weather yet, but I'll update if that's an issue. They're definitely an upgrade over the original cradles on the bike rack though, and they'll likely give me years more use out of my rack at a tiny fraction of the cost of a new rack.
