Yep, this is nerdy summer fun for your advanced kid. Better than math worksheets. Less fun than nerf wars. Make them part of your weekly summer packets. Lots of variety.

I have a 7 year old who loves learning. She loves learning the ins and outs and wondering how things tick. This book was a great one for her to open on Easter. She opened it and got right to work. There are a wide variety of activities that are helpful in keeping kids entertained or making them feel less like they are "working" and learning and more about having fun. We plan on using this guy in the summer for road trips and especially during those moments when "i'm bored" becomes a theme and quiet time is necessary!

Inventive, fun puzzles with increasing challenge in each section and great variety. A good ten pages are two-player games, though, and there are about twenty blank pages at the end for doodling. Both these should be in the product description, because they may be a feature or flaw, depending on what you want. For me, a flaw. Some puzzle answers don't seem correct, some instructions could be clearer, and some are misleading (e.g., "Find these shapes," but then the objects are distorted in the picture and are only similar to the ones in the lineup, instead of matching). So QA/QC could be better, but if you allow for that, the puzzles are fun, challenging, and diverse

As a homeschool mom, Im always on the hunt for fun learning opportunities-We got this book for my 8yo to put in his Easter basket and he has yet to put it down! It has a nice mix of challenges, but also some that are easier to give him confidence to keep going! My 7yo got the level down and it is right up his alley! Highly recommend for eager curious kids! They both can’t wait to finish and start the next books!

We purchased one for our son and our oldest daughter was intrigued so we got one for her age range as well. She was so exited for the book to arrive. She started on it right away! It’s a great way for kids to learn and incorporate what they get out of the book towards school work.

Our son loved this book. He likes challenges and this was perfect for him.
