WORKED PERFECTLY WITH CANON R6 II
Added a Tilta Cage to my Canon R6 II. I never take it off my camera. However, it blocked me from putting a flash on it. This item raised it enough for my flash to fit. It syncs fine and I have zero issues with it. It is easy to use and fits firmly and mounts right on top of the hot shoe is very light weight. Love it! Buy with confidence!

Works great. Well constructed
I am a professional Wedding photographer and the Canon 6d that I use as a backup camera body doesn't have a PC sync port built into it (i know...shame on canon). I shoot off camera flash and I needed a PC sync port to plug my Cybersync CST trigger into as I like to have 1 speedlight on my camera's hotshoe and then have the CST trigger firing off the remote flashes via the PC sync port. I had my 2nd photographer shoot with this adapter for the past 3 weddings and it has held up really well. It has threads on the port so I can still use my screw lock cables and it locks down extremely well to the hot shoe. No risk of it falling off with a flash attached to the top of it. The plastic seems durable and of solid construction. Glad to see a great work around that didn't cost a lot of money. To those that are looking to use this as an adapter to run a PC sync cable to a flash, ....this isn't the adapter for that. I have yet to find one of those adapters on amazon, but I know that Flash Zebra has a few different ones that work well.

good
Why are people using this for remote trigger? This adapter is meant to go on top of cameras that don't have PC sync port. It outputs a signal. It doesn't receive a signal. So yeah, if you're using it to remote trigger a flash that doesn't have a PC sync port, of course it is not going to work. After ignoring all the 1-stars, I bought it and glad I did. It feels pretty decently made. It works on both my Canon 5D Mark II and Canon T3i.

Cheap doesn't work in this area...
Does not fire reliably (for me, maybe 10% of the time it would actually work), and therefore is not worth having. There's really no substitute for radio triggering. Spend the money on a pair of Pocket Wizard Plus X transceivers. They have never missed a single fire.

It's what I needed
My Canon R5 has a SmallRig and a flash I had purchased didn't fit because if it. With this hot shoe adapter the flash is able to clear it and I'm able to keep the SmallRig on. It works with the adapter on and there is no delay or faults while using it.

NOT your solution for adding PC port to off-camera flash!
If you are looking to add a PC port to a remote speedlight, this is NOT your solution. The PC port only functions to SEND a signal out and will not receive signal. For example, if the adapter is mounted to your on-camera hotshoe you can plug a cable into it to send a signal from your camera to an off-camera device. However, if you mount this adapter to an off-camera speedlight attached to a wireless receiver via the PC port, it will not work. There are other adapters out there for this purpose, but they are not (yet?) available on Amazon. For that, do an online search for “Flash Zebra PC to flash hotshoe adapter”. That being said, if you need a device to add a PC port to your camera, this seems like an adequate solution. I didn’t experience any problems when testing it that way.

Works as advertised
Works as advertised. I have an old Novatron 3 light system that requires a sync cable. This work great on my Canon R series bodies.

A simple means to attach a PC sync cord to a DSLR which doesnt have a PC Sync socket
A well constructed and functional adapter. I can't get too excited about it which is why its 3 star, its ok and it works. It is sturdy enough to hold my Newer speed light however i only use it when i need to use a PC sync cable so I do not normally attach a flash to its hot shoe. Just to clarify this is not a means to fool your canon camera in to thinking a manual flash is a TTL flash. My Canon T5 i will not trigger a non TTL flash when in live view, manual flash only fires only while using the eye piece view finder. This adapter only passes the TTL signals through it to a TTL flash if it is attached.

I decided to purchase this item as I needed a hot shoe adapter to connect my camera to a set of studio strobe flash units in the photography studio I hire for studio portraits. This item is a great alternative to using wireless triggers for studio strobe flash units. I usually use the wireless remote trigger supplied by the studio I hire to fire the studio strobe flash units, but found them to be quite temperamental if running low on battery power & would some times fail to fire the studio strobe flash units every time. I was therefore very relieved to come across this very handy adapter online & ordered it straight away. The adapter is designed to work with DSLR camera which do not have the PCI input featured on higher end camera bodies such as the Canon EOS 7D upwards & is very handy for cameras such as my EOS 60D. The adapter simply slots on to the top of your cameras flash hot shoe adapter & features a PCI input to allow you to connect your DSLR to the studio strobe flash units via a sync cord cable. I have only used this item once for a studio shoot this weekend, but found the unit to work absolutely flawlessly & fired the studio strobe flashes every time without fail. I will definitely be taking this adapter with me to every studio shoot I do from now one. Definitely recommended if you need to connect you camera to studio strobes, but lack a PCI connector on your camera body.
