Very good filtration of even the finest debris like fine sand and dead algae. Bigger stuff is left, but can easily be dived (picked up) from the bottom. A bit heavy to lift out of the pool. Cleaning in fabric filter sack is a bit tedious but hey, it is full of fine debris. Overall a very good product nonetheless.

Unfortunately, we waited too long for our initial use of the product, and we missed the return window option. Clearly a very costly mistake on our end! At first, we thought the product was working fairly well for our large, 75' pool. However, after about 6 or 7 uses, the remote controller seemed to stop communicating with the robot, and we could not manually direct it to the shallow end where we wanted to remove it from the pool. Thus, we needed to turn off the power, drag it across the pool by using the attached power cable, and then reach down to pull it out of the water. Secondly, though it did a fairly good job of picking up debris (though never seeming to reach all corners of the pool in it's full cycle,) every time you take it out of the pool, the draining water would drain all sorts of debris right back into the pool, undoing some of the work that had just been performed. We cleaned the filter bag regularly, but it should not dump debris into the pool when taking it out! Very frustrating. For these reasons, I would not recommend this unit for your pool.

I have used this cleaner for over a month now, and I am not impressed. I have a large pool at my home so I bought this commercial cleaner as I thought it would be adequate. Often the cleaner does not complete the cleaning cycle or says its bag is full in under 2 hours. I then clean out the bag and put it back in and the same thing happens. This week I ran it three times consecutively cleaning the bag every time the cleaner stopped and it still never finished the pool. Keep in mind I clean my pool daily so it’s not very dirty. It’s just basically more trouble than it’s worth. I would return it if I could, so I recommend looking for a different option.

I know this is stupid but I was stupid enough to struggle with it but for anyone like me that struggled with the filter make sure that blue tag is positioned like in the picture to ensure filter fits in the wave 100 Overall dolfin runs fine Remote feature are alright I prefer just letting it do its own thing Suction is good But I noticed it started scraping on the wall unfortunately So keep an eye on that if leaving it in the pool overnight

We use the Dolphin Wave 100 for a 75 foot pool and another smaller pool. We program it to run overnight and it’s so easy to take out of the water and spray out the filter bags in the morning. Previously we were manually vacuuming the pool, which ends up with a ton of water waste and was physically arduous. Switching to the Dolphin has saved us money on water and chemical waste as well as labor hours! I will say the manual steering setting is kind of hard to use, so we mostly have just used the automatic program where it runs either 4, 6, or 8 hours.

The roller brushes on my $4,000 Wave 100 have completely fallen apart after using it about 8 times! I called Maytronics to make a warranty claim and initially they told me that the rollers are “wear parts” and therefore not covered by the warranty. After pressing them, they told me I had to go through a dealer and make a claim and they would send the dealer replacement parts. They also explained that replacing the rollers needs to be done by an authorized dealer to maintain the warranty. They will not tell me how long the rollers should last but explained that a saltwater pool will cause them to wear out more quickly (my pool is a saltwater pool). I asked them if it is reasonable to expect the brushes will wear out every 8 or so uses and, each time they do, I will need to take the unit to a deal for service. They won’t give me a straight answer to that question. Don’t buy this unit!!!! It’s like buying a new car and having to take it in for new tires every 100 miles and fighting to get the auto manufacturer to provide replacement tires under warranty (because tires are “wear parts”).
