[Note: I can be quite nit picky—especially when it comes to food. Yep, no matter how simple it is—which, in this case, I'm taking the time to do a mini food review for salted fried banana slices, lol.] There's nothing wrong with these chips—but, they're kinda pricey for what it is. They fried it well enough though so the oil isn't ridiculously prominent like most banana chips I've tried here so far. However, for something that's been fried, it feels like I'm eating something that's been baked instead—which sorta defeats the purpose (plus, those extra calories for no good reason). Usually, I expect fried bananas to be a lot more crisp (the way it breaks apart when you bite into it is just very different, imo). I'm not saying it's stale, but the texture is a lot closer to something that's been baked. Ingredients-wise, I wish they waited a bit more for the banana to ripen a tinge. I can taste the starchiness that very unripe bananas still have—other brands don't have this problem. Overall, it's alright I suppose and it may still be worth a shot if you still haven't found the plantain banana chips you've been searching for after trying a lot of others on Amazon CA. Who knows? You might like this one.
