The shopping and departments are quite hard to retain (for me) but I understand what they mean when seeing them (just not to say yet.) I've really enjoyed the course too and it's great at building confidence. I have talk 2 so will be moving onto that (after approx a fortnight of spending an hour a night working and listening.) I find languages challenging so am delighted by that. I recommend ripping the vocab tracks separately so you can have them on repeat. Fantastic course, I'll be going back to purchase the French and Spanish for reference! Sehr gut!

It's easy to follow and divided in to manageable amounts of information to learn and remember as you work through.

A very encouraging start for those students wishing to learn German. The programme is well planned and easy to follow. Looking forward to Talk German 2.

I love this but check out Paul Nobles tuition too! I learned even faster with his audio course. However, this BBC Talk series are really effective and live up to their claims too. I guess it depends on whether you want to learn holiday German, them choose this one, or more in-depth German them perhaps Paul Nobles.
