Can I restain after bleaching?

Yes. I refinished a desk & used the Zinsser Wood Bleach, which did an excellent job of removing the old stain. Then, I restained & the desk came out just like new.

how many square ft does this do on a floor?

It's won't really do all that much. I needed to do several "2' foot x 4' foot", wood panels with each equaling eight square feet. There was enough to do "1", of the panels with enough left over to only do about half of another! But that was not what really got to me. What did get to me you ask?? That was the fact that it did NOT work any better than regular "Clorox", "Disinfecting", bleach that I had already experimented with!! The only real difference was that I had to use the "Clorox", twice with about a two hour wait between applications. This to get the exact same effect. And the "Clorox", was only $6.00 for the entire gallon! Enough to do "22" of the 2' x 4', wood panels twice as needed! Oh yeah, The "Clorox" bleach may smell bad, but the "Zinser"? That stuff is truly "Caustic", and you need to use it outdoors only! As advised in the directions. Also; Don't use a brush as recommended. There was "NO" difference when I tried that. It just went everywhere while you were using it!

Can this be sanded out? How deep does it work?

Yes it can be sanded out . It's a clear remover but it picks up the color of the stain but drys clear

does it work on endgrain?

I never tried it on endgrain. But you should try it on a small inconspicuous area first.
