According to our experience both are correct dimensions for mostly blades. THICKNESS: As prove of authenticity of vegetable tanned real leather skin the thickness may vary from 1/16” to 3/32”, but 90% of strops come in 5/64”= 2 mm. approx. or more, more than enough to be stuck to a board or USED DIRECTLY AS IT COMES.
