Amazing!
This tool made all the difference when we were painting five doors for our house. In the past, we tried to hang them. We tried to flip them, and it was a struggle. Highly recommend getting these for painting multiple doors.

Great System for Painting Slab Doors
I bought this slab door painting system back in June 2023 and it has held up great through multiple projects. It’s sturdy, easy to set up, and makes painting interior doors way more efficient. The design keeps everything stable so you get a clean finish without fighting the door. I also uploaded a video so you can see exactly how it works in real use. If you paint doors regularly. whether for DIY or professional work this setup is worth it. Simple product, strong build, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

I don’t write reviews but needed to express the flaw with this system
2 things here. 1) the green metal pieces have no way of locking in. They do slide over the orange plastic “star”, but they don’t lock up. This is a huge problem. We often sand doors and they will certainly give way and pop out when sanding. Also, for simple safety purposes, if the doors were to get bumped I could see the green metal piece popping off and causing a potential big accident. What is going on here? 2) no screws?? Really? $140 for this and no screws. Unbelievable. I can make do without screws but the fact these don’t lock up for safety is just a huge problem. I will return them.

Novel ideal poorly executed at high cost
This is the second review I've written in about ten years, so know that I was compelled to do so as you read. This is novel idea for a product, but unfortunately, it is poorly executed especially for the price. As others have noted, when you have several doors set up with this system, they are VERY and I mean VERY flimsy because nothing secures the metal bracket to the plastic brackets. DO NOT do any between coats sanding in a horizontal motion as this can make everything dangerously unstable and likely to collapse. Use only a VERY LIGHT *vertical* motion when sanding. I had nine doors to spray, and if I didn't have a helper hold the door as I positioned and lined up the brackets, it would have been impossible because *nothing holds them firmly together*! The doors on the either end of the string are the most vulnerable, and I almost had one fall and cause a domino effect with the other eight while sanding after primer. Had this have happened, it would have been an utter catastrophe. All these things need is a female thread in the plastic bracket, and a a male threaded "bolt" that threads into it, while clamping the metal bracket in place. Utterly mind boggling why this wasn't done. As it stands, I can only give it two stars due to this and especially for the high cost. I'd have been better off cutting a 1" diameter dowel 2" long, drilling a clearance hole in it, then using a 1" wide by 1/4" thick by 10" long piece of wood screwed through the dowel to hold the doors firmly together and far enough apart for a fraction of the cost.

Good product.
Good product worked well, the only thing I would suggest is a way to keep the green pieces locked down. If you just set them and don’t work on the doors they are fine, but any movement or vibration will make the green things come off and the doors will fall. I put some tape on the top to hold them down, it didn’t need much to keep them on.

The concept is great, however it does make it alot easier with 2 people to start it since holding 2 doors while connecting can be a bit difficult. As a whole it works well and the added spacers for the bottom prevent blow up from ground debris
