Easy to setup. Works great. I have it light at Dusk and and go out eight hours later and works like a charm. remote works from a decent distance.

This outdoor timer works great I used it for Christmas lights. I did not have any issues with rain while using the timer. I did mount it two feet from the ground as the product instructed using a plant hook. I utilized the timer with two extension cords and was able to light 4 small trees and one large tree. Every evening the timer automatically went on at dusk and off 4 hours later. The timer has four different options 2,4,6 and 8 hours. It was so convenient to not have to go outside and plug the lights in and unplug them each evening.

I’ve used these timers for years to turn my Christmas lights off/on and have had no issues. I like that there are 3 outlets to plug all my cords into and programming them is simple. I upgraded to a Wi-Fi timer, but they aren’t as reliable and most only work on 2.4ghz Wi-Fi. I wasn’t happy with those and switched back to these old reliable timers. Yes, you have to go outside to program them or change the time, but for me one and done.

This is a good product. It's simple to use and gives a lot of flexibility. Using the remote it can be made to turn on and off manually, or it can sense darkness and turn on. If you don't want the lights on all night, you can select the number of hours it will stay on after nightfall. Except for manual operation, it will remember your selection and repeat it the next day. My only complaint was a manufacturing fault in the remote. When powered up the remote insisted on turning on the outlet. I found the ON button was jammed on. I disassembled the remote and saw that the plastic frame that held all the buttons had not been pressed all the way onto its mounting peg. Once pressed on and reassembled, it worked fine.

Wow! The perfect remote for my outdoor Christmas lights. Works like a charm - with on/off or timer settings. I can control my light right from my living room. Replaced a higher-priced remote that shorted out. This one works even better.

Excellent timer. I set it for everyday of the week during Christmas time for the Outdoor Lighting .Worked perfectly. It will take a bit to learn the input sequence even with the instructions but don't get frustrated just keep trying you will get it, heck I did.

UPDATE: The original timer didn’t work, but the seller immediately reached out to offer a replacement. The second one works great so far. It may be I just had the bad luck of receiving a defective product. Can’t beat the customer service! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I wanted to love this. I mounted this 2 feet high on the post of a pergola swing and plugged in some string lights. It worked great initially and the swing looked so pretty all lit up. Unfortunately, it stopped working after just 2 weeks. I already threw the box away so can’t return it. So disappointing.

I works as advertised. Has settings for on/ off along with timers to turn on after dusk and turn off 4/6 hrs etc after that. It also comes with a remote to operate it without going out. The main problem I am having is with the size of the power chord and the requirement for the sensor/ remote to operate properly outdoors is to have other 2 ft above the ground. If your power outlets outside are like mine, it will be hard to have it fixed above 2 ft without using an extender.

This works perfectly as I expected. Took a bit of time to set it well and the turning on time is 15 min delay than what's set which confused me at first. But overall it's having solid build with great quality
