Great item, just the job for soldering or inspection of small items etc. Clear screen, stable unit, easy adjustment of lens height and focus, the two small flexishaft lights are usefull as well. The ability to send output to hdmi monitor is a great function. All in all a great piece of kit for the money.

Great picture and stable base even when in it's highest position. Built-in battery is also useful and you could even run it from a portable charger for longer run time. The integrated LED lights are very helpful and remove the need for an additional light source. The digital zoom is usable but I haven't needed it yet. Decent distance from object gives plenty of room to work. Overall it has everything I need and I think it's great value for money..

Relatively good value for money (compared to traditional microscopes) Works easily and gives great results. Useful for PCB work and watch repairs etc.

Getting the negative points out the way first, the included USB power adaptor is total junk. I had problems with the microscope freezing and turning off initially, and the adaptor got very hot. I switched to a known good USB power adaptor and things have been fine since. The only other thing I don’t like about it are the touch controls for the light brightness - the ones on the plate are very easy to trigger if you’re sliding a large PCB around. The one under the main control panel is also very easy to trigger when pressing the buttons above it. Other than the negatives I mentioned, I do think this is overall a really good product. A completely unadvertised feature is it has a built in rechargeable battery, that seems to have at least an hour’s worth of capacity with all the lights on. Functionality is good, lots of image adjustment options. Switching between photo/video mode is a bit long winded (there isn’t any separate buttons to trigger a photo or a video - you need to switch between these modes in the menu). However, image quality is great. I’ve never soldered using a microscope before and this has made small surface mount jobs 100x easier. Overall, despite the caveats, I would recommend this product.
