I couldn’t be happier with my purchase of the East Oak 60 Gallon Waterproof Resin Deck Box! From the moment it arrived, this deck box has exceeded my expectations in every way. Pretty strong and large storage box. The gas shocks make it really nice to open and hold the lid open but still easy to close. Assembly was extremely simple, 14 screws with a Phillips head screw driver. 5-10 minutes to assemble. Looks great and blends in perfectly with my house. Heavy duty material, great for storing multiple things inside keeping everything organized.

**EDIT: The company reached out to me directly after my original review of 2 stars, and sent me yet another replacement and was very understanding and apologetic about everything. Re-reviewing this and giving them 5 stars for the kind gesture to make things right. I ordered this item 3 separate times, and when I did finally get it, it was cracked. The first order, never went through some how, it just sat in my order list saying "order received" but was never shipped out after 2 weeks so I canceled it and reordered it for the 2nd time. It went through and said to be delivered in 2 days. I checked the tracking after 2 days and I said it was delayed and will be delivered the next day. The next day, it said order was stuck at the local warehouse and could not be delivered due to severe weather in the area. (We did not have severe weather that week). After 3 days of it just sitting at the warehouse and no delivery rescheduled, I reached out to Amazon support and they said they'll have another one shipped out. So I get the replacement 2 days later.. and when I opened the box, the side of the container was cracked. I was over it at this point and just decided to keep it and super glue it. On to the actual product review. It's good. It was easy to put together and seems to be pretty sturdy. A nice storage bin for us since we dont have much space in our apartment but our patio is big. It fits 2 of my smaller coolers and could easily fit more items. Planning to keep my patio furniture cushions in there during the winter season.

I’ve had this storage box on our back covered patio for a year and a half and love it. I bought it specifically for our patio furniture cushions that I got tired of bringing inside when not being used. First I want to mention that our patio is covered but this part of the patio still gets direct sunlight and sometimes wind (meaning lots of blowing dust). We live on the edge of town in the Midwest with all four seasons. We even had a very damaging rain/hail storm last year in which the roof over this box actually leaked pretty much all night. Not a drop went into the box. This box has survived all weather like a champ doing what it does without complaint. Second, I should mention that I figured dust/dirt would get in so I put one of those box covers INSIDE the box as sort of a liner. It wasn’t meant for that, but it’s worked beautifully. My cushions survived one harsh winter and two summers clean, dry and bug free. As you can see, the liner is really dirty so I wouldn’t recommend using the box for this purpose without that liner. The box might be waterproof but definitely isn’t dust proof. However, it hasn’t really faded much, it’s really easy to wipe off (which I haven’t done in about four months-hence the dirt all over it), and has a very large capacity. It was a cinch to put together. Highly recommend.

This was super easy to put together and feels really durable. I've even used it as a chair outside and it doesn't feel like it's going to break. It holds more than I was expecting, and even with the Texas rain, everything inside has stayed dry. The plastic material is thick and the latch hasn't had any issues. Very happy with it!

I’m very pleased with the ‘water proof’-ness of the box. I bought it for storing a computer and other pieces of expensive electronic equipment outside. (For a telescope.) Over the past few weeks the box has seen a variety of weather conditions from 78 F to 22 F, and two heavy thunderstorms that dropped 2 to 3 inches of rain and blew gusts over 20 mph. I used a simple piece of twisted wire to secure the lid. Not a drop of moisture got inside! The electronics are fine. So, yes, the box is as good as advertised. Easy to put together, too.

It looks great, it was fairly easy to assemble (other than the top part). -top part was kind of tricky to screw in. It felt like the screws were too short, but they weren’t. - The lock part is also important, even if you are too exhausted from assembling the top part, do it! - And then fasten it up too, with your own device as no lock is included. The wind will blow it open… Once it is all done it is really quite a wonderful deck storage unit.

Love this storage box -- I ordered it to tidy up our deck and store my outdoor gear, and stuff we only use occasionally but don't want to bother keeping all the way down in our storage area. I really like the grey colour and the way the lid opens slowly so it does not pinch my hands. This box feels way more solid and stays dryer inside than the wood bins I've used in the past. Pros: - The plastic material looks good, and is easy to handle with no sharp edges. - It is strong enough for a person to sit on it like a bench. - You can add a lock to keep your items safe when you are away, although we won't need that. - It took less than half an hour to put the whole thing together, and that was me going slowly to make sure I wasn't snapping it together the wrong way. - The instructions were super clear; easily the best I've used. They were big and clear for my old eyes to read, and the parts were clearly labeled. They were simple: only one type of screw, so you didn't have to compare lengths. - The pneumatic arms work really well to help you open and close the lid. - There's tons of space inside. Cons: - If you leave it empty, it could blow around a bit on your deck in a strong wind, but you're not going to leave it empty, because it's awesome and you got it so you could put stuff in it. I think this deck box is an awesome choice for anyone who wants to keep their deck neat and clean, and doesn't want to waste money on a storage solution that won't last. Highly recommended.
