Unbelievable Typewriter!
This Royal typewriter works wonderfully. The Computer is great but there are times when a typewriter is needed too. Did I tell you it is light weight and easy to take where you want. It had a handle to carry it too! Everything is working fine and I'm glad it was Royal I chose.

Very Adequate
The keyboard is very sensitive. Overall though, a good piece of equipment when you don't have time to play margin vs. printer games.

Don't buy this typewriter.
This machine doesn't work. The letters are not spaced correctly and they are on top of each other. The manufacturer says to take it to a technician. There are none in south Florida. I've read many people have this problem with this machine.

Typewriters are coming back
My 93 year old mentor is so happy to be able to write again..loves this typewriter.

Easy to use
Works well...takes some getting used to after years of computer keyboards. Bought to type some small documents that wouldn't fit computer printer.

Royal makes a Great Typewriter

Do not buy. Very cheaply made. Typewriter shakes a lot as you type. Reseller doesn't want to refund. Manufacturer doesn't want to refund. Amazon should drop reseller. Amazon attempting to help get reseller to refund. See how that goes.

The paper in the typewriter moves, it's not held in tightly. Would not recommend.

Il n'y était pas spécifié que c'était une machine à écrire anglaise. Je travaille dans un bureau de notaire au Québec où tous nos actes sont en français et je n'ai aucuns accents. J'ai voulu faire un échange pour une en français et cela m'a été refusé car une en français nécessitait une commande spéciale. Je suis un peu déçue au prix qu'elle nous a coûté.
