My sewer hose broke and leaked while camping last month. What can I do about it

Two options. Locate this item you purchased on YOUR ORDER page. See if there is a link to the seller there to contact and or to arrange returns in the future. Of course Amazon is good at honoring the 30 day return option however they are not nearly as good as they were just a year ago even. If the direct way fails and Camco and seller does not honor this product to last over a few months then order a new identical one and send the bad one back in it's place. I know that's an ethical situation you'll have to struggle with. But now and again it may be the only means to resolve a problem that you know is not your fault and the product by the manufacturer was bad right out of the box but you let the 30 day return period lapse. The problem with the last option is of course it contributes to increased prices for everyone over time. Always clean this type of item well and dry it well before returning. I've heard horror stories of people being sent used dirty such items which I'd be most unhappy with. Sanitize if you used is also preferred. People hired to accept returns in return department have nothing to do with any products failure and you need to think ahead and be thoughtful and care about them too.

woud this fit a new airstream

We have an Airstream and the new sewer hose we bought DIDN'T fit.  The connection for the trailer end was too small so we're keeping the old hose until we can get to the Airstream dealer.

Question 3

Is there a way to insure that the hose will be the one with the translucent fittings as advertised?  I just returned one that came in with Clear?

There cheaper ones come with the translucent fitting or elbows if you prefer not to see your sewer sludge go out and down. Anyway the better quality versions come with the clear. So take a look at the Camco 101 Video about sewer hose shopping. They actually tell you which ones come with the translucent and those with the clear. Stop the video on the ones that show the translucent ones and take down the information for that product and then locate that one and you've nailed the one you want. A tip here is to use google or duckduck to search for the specific item and go down looking for Amazon's link and you get to the specific product a lot quicker than using Amazon's search engine. Not sure why Amazon can't develop a decent search engine years ago and I mean like two decades ago Amazon searches were very good but they lost their way. Not only do they crowd the pages with every other kind of item around what you specified but items not even related. So to find things faster go to an outside search engine and link back into Amazon. Happy camping..by now you have found the sewer hose of your dreams I hope.

What is the length of the 10 ft hose completely squeezed in?

Just measured a collapsed 10' extension hose.  42" end of fitting to end of fitting.
