They are thinner than the traditional boas but are substantial enough to have a very cut look. They DO NOT SHED and are VERY COMFORTABLE. We bought them for photo props and party attire. They look even more cute if worn in double or triple layers. The girls loved them. And honestly, I thought I was compromising by not buying the more expensive and thicker boas, but I prefer these to the larger and very scratchy authentic ones. And these can be used over and over again and store very nicely without taking up much room at all.

I recently threw my daughter a “fancy” tea party for her fourth birthday and wanted to do a little dress up area for her little friends. I was looking around for some feather boas and came across this listing. Since they are four year olds and little ones, we didn’t need super over the top fluffy ones that were majorly expensive, but I also didn’t want cheap ones that were really thin and would shed. These were PERFECT. I love that they were multi color, so the kiddos could pick which one they wanted and they were also so soft! Not scratchy or itchy and they didn’t shed at all. They came vacuum sealed in a little bag so I took them out a couple of days before the party (they did have a bit of a funny smell) and I draped them on a hanger to 1. Let them air out and 2. Fluff up a bit and straighten out. I highly recommend if you are using these for a party or an event; order ahead and do this. The kids loved them and even after using them for the party they are still in excellent condition-the ones we have left and I’ll pack them up for later use. Very impressed for the price and the amount you get!

Okay so it’s not a traditional feather boa. It’s really just strings. But for our purposes (an 8 year old’s Taylor Swift dance birthday party), it will be just fine, considering we need 20 of them and don’t want to break the bank. Yes strings fall off. But I’m okay with that for this price since I will be cleaning up anyway.

I got these for a girlfriend's reunion. They are a little skimpy, but are really fun. We went to a dance and had fun twirling our boas. I kind of wanted the purple, but it wasn't available in the 6.5 length, which I think was much better than the shorter 5' length. When walking around the crowds at the Candy Dance, we could easily spot each other. Two friends thought they were a little warm as it was a hot day, but we all really enjoyed wearing them.

These are not feather boas. They have fluffy strings attached and are not full at all, poor quality for a feather boa. They will do in a pinch but if you're looking for a real feather boa this isn't it. The color is spot on though

Not as fluffy as a real feather boa, but almost zero shedding, no smell, and the glittery strands are a nice bonus. Would buy again.

My choir's spring performance had a bird theme and I wanted a fuzzy boa to go along with it. I chose this set for several reasons: 1. Anti-cruelty - they're man-made so no birds lost their feathers from my purchase. 2. Several of our choir members have various allergies - getting something non-animal-based meant there was less chance of the boas triggering an allergic reaction. 3. So many boas for the price that I was able to share with my fellow-choristers. The colors are vibrant, they fluffed out nicely, and everyone that got one loved theirs. Bottom line - this was a great purchase. If I need more, I'll get 'em again!
