I love this shower curtain. I was looking for a curtain that did not have the chemical smell, and this one fits the bill. I did not find any cornstarch on it when I opened the package, but there was a faint vinegary smell. I soaked it in water for about 3 hours before I hung it. The slight smell remained, but I did not mind it as I like the smell of vinegar. After 2 days the smell was gone completely. I bought the 72"x72", and I love the fact that it is wide enough to wrap around the front and back of my shower. It works really well. The only downside is that it billowed inward when I first started using it. I fixed that by putting magnets on the inside of the curtain near the upper rim of the tub. I have an older tub, so it is made of steel or iron beneath the porcelain. I found that ceramic and rare earth magnets worked very well, but I prefer the ceramic, as they are easier to remove when I have finished showering. I heartily recommend this curtain, especially if you have some magnets.

This is a nice shower liner. It is heavy and stays in place. It is in the spare bathroom so that shower does not get used much.

Heavy duty shower liner that works. I appreciate its weight, as it does not flap around when the shower is on like my old lighter weight one. I just wish there were a few more weights on the bottom, as it still moves (albeit only occasionally). Easy to install. The instructions say to wash it before use to avoid static but who has time for that? I didn’t do that and it was fine. Not light blocking but I got the transparent version so I wasn’t expecting it to. It looks fine behind a designed cloth shower curtain. Softness to the touch is good. Comes with wrinkles because of packaging but they go away after use. Overall a good quality liner, just wish it had a few more weights at the bottom.

About 2 years ago I raised the height of my shower rod and it made a huge difference in how luxurious the bathroom looks. It was hard to find a shower curtain long enough for my needs that also had heavy weights. This curtain perfectly fits and the stones do keep it from blowing around a lot. I had my first curtain for 2 years and just re-purchased. It doesn't smell like plastic or anything straight out of the package which I appreciate. It is easy to clean and holds up really well. I will keep re-purchasing when I need a new one!

Just put it up but it's thick and seems to be good quality. I had wanted the kind with magnets because they stick to my tub and hold the curtain down well but I accidentally bought this with the stones instead and so far (1 shower) they were heavy enough to keep the shower curtain from flying up.

I don't know why "light weight" would be an attribute. This is a quality strong and sturdy shower curtain heavy material and it is staying clear. Strong eyelets. So strong and see thru - if it was in Hitchcock's Psycho movie, Janet Leigh/ Marion Crane gets away and lives. 6 month Follow up: Still in great shape thru daily use. I put it in the washing machine to remove hair dye stains and it still looks good. Not as clear as it was new but thats because of my poor quality municipal water I might order another one before they realise what a great curtain this is and raise the price
