Perfect condition!
One of the best games on the ds if you had to ask me. Game worked perfectly. I was so happy to relive my childhood playing this! Not many issues with shipping as well

What's not to like? Keep reading
Our little princess wanted this game for her 8th birthday because our two Huskies she used to play with aren't puppies any longer and grew intimidatingly large. A couple of weeks later she's now telling me that this is the best DSi game ever and she's played a few.WHAT'S TO LIKE?This could be a long list but, to name some of the more striking features I should begin with the gorgeous graphics and animations. The little puppy looks and acts very much like the real thing. She also loves the ability to teach her puppies (can have up to three at a time) voice commands and, if proper trained, the dog will obey them. And, since I mentioned it, it's the training, of course. It's not easy to train your puppy but that's what makes the game fun because, being hard makes our girl so proud of her achievements - she runs to show me every time her little pet learned a new trick. And then it's the contests - obedience, agility and disc catching - which reward her patience and perseverance. And, this really stands out, on a DSi you have the ability to let your puppy play with other Nintendodogs that happen to be nearby while in wireless mode.WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE?The price, of course. This is a very expensive game if bought new. We bought ours used in a 'as new' condition for a fraction of Amazon's 'new' price and, maybe we were lucky, but I don't believe we're missing anything.OUR RATINGIt's our girl's rating because she's the one playing it and it's an enthusiastic 5 stars.-->> Brush your teeth, it's the law! <<

Hours of fun.
I have never played this game, but my ten year old daughter loves it. She gets very excited about entering competitions and earning prize money, and buying more dogs from the pound. There is a life-lesson in their somewhere. Strangely enough, I was ordered to pet the dog one time while she ran outside for something and the graphics were crisp and very good. If I were a kid, I think this could be fun for a while. The game was about $20. I think that is a good value, considering the amount of time that she spends playing it. It is also a game that does not have violence or cursing. The most graphic scene is when the dog has to go poo-poo. Games have come a long way since PacMan.

Doesn't work and isn't fun
Wow. I think this is the only bad review I've ever given about a game. This one is just awful. The game decides if your voice tone is consistent and if it isn't consistent when calling the dog's name 5-10 times in a row, you have to start over. This takes forever and isn't fun. But once you get past it, you then have to "train" your dog to do a "trick" (sit) before you can do ANYTHING else. The training instructions are nonsensical and it's fairly random whether the dog responds. Go to youtube and watch kids struggling with this game. If you want to hear your kid shouting the name of his/her dog over and over...all day...get this game, LOL.

The Best Christmas gift for my grandson
Well, it was a bit of a hassle getting it to my grandson who lives a 1000 miles away, because of the Christmas rush and demand, so he received Nintendogs Lab after Christmas, and it was the one gift he really really wanted! He is nine and a half and LOVES this game! My son, his father, says he has worked up to 6 dogs and has them do tricks as sit, lie down, fetch, etc. My grandson recently told me, however, he's cut back to 4 dogs as that number is easier to keep. Even three months after receiving Nintendogs Labrador he still loves the game and has not grown tired of it. I know absolutely nothing about it, never have seen it, only know what my son and grandson tell me. My grandson is quite easy to please, but rarely gets this enthusiastic about a gift given. He would rate this game 5 stars for both fun and overall. It appeals to him in both entertainment value and intellectual stimulation. I not sure how happy I am with children glued to little "Gameboys," as our 4 year old granddaughter got hers also at Christmas [from our daughter], but at least with Nintendogs there is some educational value about it.

Old memory’s
Really fun game from my childhood. I spent countless hours in this game, taking care of my virtual dog, because my mother would not let me get one. The whole premise is that you are adopting a dog and you need to train it. Take care of it anything that goes along with owning a dog It’s a lot of fun I would recommend playing in.

Fun for a few days, then gets rather boring
Ok, I don't own a dog, even though I love dogs. The truth is, I've always dreaded the responsibilities (and expenses) that would come with having a dog.So when Nintendogs came out, I got a copy right away, so I could claim I have a puppy now, albeit a virtual one. The game is really easy to get started on. Just pick the breed and dog, off you go.The game kept me fascinated for a few days, as I fed my virtual lab named Lucky (how imaginative of me!), took her out for walks, training her to recognize about 10 commands, and entering her into contests to earn money. It was a fun few days, but eventually it got boring. Why? Because the number of things you can do with your virtual puppy is very limited, and the A.I. built into these virtual puppies is also very limited. For example, when your dog comes to you and you pet him or her, he/she exhibits the same reaction each and every time. Another example: every time you hit the Home icon, the puppy walks away from you. Because the puppy acts so robot-like in so many situations (esp. on those long virtual walks), the game gets very boring.Of course, your virtual pet will never lick you or let you feel his or her warm belly, so it'll never be as much fun as a real pet.
