I bought these after my son insulted my Chicago Cutlery block set! Didn’t really need them. But I love them! The knives are very sharp, including the serrated steak knives. The knives are well balanced and fit well in my hand. I like that they are one piece, also. I do a lot of research before making any significant purchases & after quite a lot of research, I found these to be great for the price! The block is fine, just a knife holder, after all. Has a smaller footprint than my previous one, so takes up less space on counter. They look great in my kitchen with my stainless steel appliances & granite countertops. And, to be honest, these knives are sexy & bold! Aye-aye-aye! Definitely a factor for me. I’ve already gotten compliments from everyone who has seen/used them. Have washed them in dishwasher, no problem so far. I have numbness and tingling in my hands, so using knives can be risky for me. These fit well & have been thoroughly tested. No knife slips yet. I would definitely recommend these. They are a bit masculine but I like that, like the unusual look of them. They make me happy! 😃

Purchased for Thanksgiving as I had given the electronic version a go for years but it never felt safe. It was perfect for carving a uniform turkey. Will be a holiday staple for us! Durable and good look.

I am pleased with the quality for the price. These are not going to be the amazing top quality knives like other brands, but you're also not paying the price for those either. When I got the box all the pieces were there, but I wish the knife holes and knives had a number system so you aren't guessing what goes where when you're trying to put them in the block for the first time. I read reviews where people get shorted some knives, but I did not experience this. I also read reviews where the knives started rusting after 1 or 2 uses. I've not experienced that yet either, although we hand wash all of our dishes, and I make sure to dry the knives and put the back in the block immediately after the dishes get washed. Pros: 1) The knives and the scissors came extremely sharp. 2) It's nice that they put a sharpener and a blade honer on the block. Those seem to be of decent quality. 3) The knives fit my hand well and are balanced well. 4) Affordable and the quality matches the price. 5) I like that they are all one piece. The last set of knives I had had plastic handles on the side, and those started breaking off over time. There is not plastic on these knives to break off. Cons: 1) The block seems like a cheaply painted block of wood. Nothing special about it. The block I had before actually swiveled and this one doesn't. 2) I wish the knives were labeled on the handle instead of the blade telling what kind of knife they are so you can get the one you want without having to pull it out of the block first. 3) The steak knives are serrated and with my knowledge of serrated blades I don't see how the sharpeners can sharpen the steak knives. 4) The handles seem to be hollow so time will tell how long they last. I think they make them hollow to help balance them out.

I ordered a set of these knives for my wife for Christmas (starry sky series). We had one item missing from the package and I contacted customer support and after a few friendly emails back and forth they replaced the entire set with a brand new one. These knives are high quality and come ready to use. They feel solid in the hand and should last much longer than our cuisinart set did. Would recommend.

Based on a recommendation I got these. Now that I have these, I can say “I have never before owned a sharp set of knives”. The high quality blades sound like the sword sounds on TV when you pull them out. Be careful, they are VERY sharp. I do not wash these in the dishwasher. The block has a coarse and fine sharpener, though I have not tried them yet.

Nos encontramos con seis cuchillos de sierra(son los que menos utilizo), dos lisos que van muy bien para picar y pelar ,uno grande de sierra y tres más, grandes y lisos que son una pasada cortando cualquier cosa. Los filetes salen perfectos, y además incluye unas tijeras de cocina con la empuñadura en negro . Material 🔩. Estos cuchillos están formados de una sola pieza ,y están hechos de acero son muy cómodos a la hora de utilizarlos y además no pesan nada. Advertencia ⚠️. Debes tener bastante cuidado al usarlos, pues se van solos y puedes cortarte fácilmente. Detalles 👀. Quedan súper elegantes y bien recogidos en la cocina. Se pueden meter en el lavavajillas, pero yo prefiero no meterlos, pues así dura más el afilado, los limpio y seco después de cada uso y están brillantes. Recomendado 🌈. Le set incontournable d’une cuisine équipée. Qu’il soit à viande, à poisson, à légume à pain ou à steak, des couteau qui coupent sont indispensables et nécessaire au cuisinier qui prépare le repas. Quoi de plus énervant qu’un couteau qui ne va pas bien couper la tomate ou le poisson que l’on prépare. Les ciseaux accompagnant le set sont un plus non négligeable, cessons d’utiliser un couteau à papier pour couper sa ciboulette ! Attention les doigts ceci coupent parfaitement et ne nécessite qu’un aiguisage de temps à autre. Ce set est parfaitement complet et convient à tout type de cuisine, que l’on débute ou que l’on soit déjà bien à l’aise. Très facile d’entretien, une éponge, du savon et de l’eau chaude. Le prix reste tout à fait cohérent avec la qualité du produit. Je recommande ce set de couteaux.

Molto bello questo set di coltelli, completo di ceppo dove riporli e tenerli esposti, pronti all’uso. Tutti i pezzi sono ben realizzati, con un’ottima lama affilata, che permette di tagliare ogni tipo di alimento senza difficoltà o fatica. Nella confezione si ricevono davvero tanti coltelli, ben 12, più una grossa forbice. Ci sono 6 coltelli seghettati da usare in tavola, uno per il pane, mentre gli altri sono adatti per cucinare, con lame di varie lunghezze e larghezze. Sono quindi utili per tanti usi, come tagliare la carne, le verdure o sfilettare il pesce. Sono molto belli esteticamente, con una linea moderna e il color acciaio. Anche l’impugnatura mi è piaciuta, con una forma ergonomica che permette di impugnarli molto comodamente e di non farli scivolare tra le mani, anche se sono completamente lisci. Bello ed elegante il ceppo in plastica dura, molto scenografico da tenere sul bancone della cucina e utile per avere sempre a portata di mano tutti coltelli. Su un lato del ceppo sono presenti due fessure in cui sono posizionate delle pietre per l’affilatura. Sarà quindi possibile rifare il filo delle lame, quando incominceranno a tagliare di meno, semplicemente passandole all’interno di queste scanalature. Concludendo si tratta di un ottimo set, con tanti coltelli ben affilati e belli da vedere. Il prezzo lo trovo buono vista la quantità e la qualità dei pezzi e per questo ritengo possa essere anche una buona scelta per un regalo. Spero la recensione possa essere utile. This knife set hands down is the best bang for your buck out there. We knew that this set was good but we were blown away by how good it actually is. This set beats other knife sets out there that are twice and three times the cost of this set. The knives are very sharp, feel great in your hand and we love that they are one piece only. If you are thinking about buying this set, you will not regret it!

Super ensemble de couteaux joliment fabriqué et du plus bel effet sur un comptoir de cuisine. Les couteaux sont de très bonne qualité, les lames sont épaisses et tranchantes, coupent sans effort, les couteaux sont ergonomiques, solides avec un poids adapté facilitant leur manipulation, les ciseaux sont également très bons, et l'entretien est facile. Après un mois d'utilisation quotidienne, je peux vraiment dire que j'adore cet ensemble de couteaux, de loin les meilleurs que j'ai actuellement. L'ensemble est assez complet et comporte un couteau pour presque tout ce qu'il faut couper en cuisine, le bloc dispose de deux aiguiseurs intégrés pour affûter les couteaux à chaque fois que c'est nécessaire, ce qui est un vrai plus. En terme d'entretien, je les lave à la main et les laisse sécher à l'air. Ils sont restés sans rouille et sans rayures. Petits bémols : 1) les aiguiseurs sont disposés sur le côté droit du bloc, ce qui pour les gauchers peut être un peu pénible avec l'angle d'affûtage ; 2) les poignées des couteaux sont lisses et ont tendance à glisser si on a les mains moites ; et enfin 3) les couteaux ne passent absolument pas au lave-vaisselle (la notice le précise clairement). Pour résumer, on est sur un bel ensemble de couteaux de cuisine de très bonne qualité, assez complet avec prix très attractif, très satisfait.
