Very simple and efficient way to make waffles!
This was a good purchase. I was a cooking/baking instructor at a summer camp and had to make a curriculum of recipes for the kids to learn. When I started to get the idea of teaching how to make waffles the thought of making them in a waffle iron came across and then I saw these pans which is such a good idea. It helped me bake 8 waffles at a time. And it cooks the waffle bater evenly. Very useful cooking tool and it cools off very fast. The waffles slide out of the silicone pans effortlessly. Definitely would recommend this waffle pan especially when making a big amount of them at once. It saves alot of time.

Works great with a baking sheet
I used these to make chickpea waffles, so waffles made out of chickpea batter. The trays are thin so you have to use a baking sheet underneath or else batter will spill everywhere. I spray some nonstick spray on them (coconut oil, for example) before pouring the batter in, and put them in the dishwasher by the plates for cleaning. Works well.

Convenient, Convenient, Convenient
These are great for my sitch; I live in a 1000 sq ft apartment and don't have tons of counter space. The first time I used the molds, I got a pretty decent result. I used Krusteaz pancake mix but modified the recipe with salt, pepper, cinnamon, turmeric, brown sugar and butter; just like my pancakes. I used Chia as an egg sub for 2 eggs. I put them on a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and oiled them with Grapeseed. I baked them at 350 for about 22 minutes. Okaaaaay LOL, they came out more like cake waffles... Cakeffles... Wakes? I put too much mix in each slot, covering the tops of the squares too much. It made them flat on the top with no squares. They weren't golden brown on the bottom so I flipped them onto the cookie sheet and put the on low broil for 3 mins. They stuck just a little bit as I took them out, however it wasn't a deal breaker. They cleaned up pretty easy with a hand scrubber, but left a bit of residue. Using my soapy hand to rub that off gently did the trick. 2 MONTHS LATER: I used them again and this time I used milk, one egg(Chia) and grapeseed oil vs butter. They came out stiffer and much more waffle-y. I baked them at 450 for about 12 minutes on the center rack and they did get really crispy which perfect waffle crunch. Only thing I would change is to cook them at 400-425 and maybe a Tbsp of butter instead of none.

Great Alternative to Waffle Iron
When I make Belgian liege (yeast-based) waffles in a waffle iron, the taste is great, but it produces results slowly. Feeding a crowd requires an hour to get full service and the cleanup is takes 10 times as long as the cook. I tried these molds to see if I could eliminate the mess and cook several batches at once. I set the oven to 430F, filled the molds to the top, then baked for 10 minutes on a jelly pan. I pulled them out, flipped the waffles out onto the pan, then continued the bake for 4 more minutes. The results were not perfect, since they only had the waffle pattern on one side and there was a bit of burn, but the taste was spot-on. The following cleanup took 1 minute since everything slips right out of the silicon mold. My next step is ordering more molds so I can scale up production at my next group breakfast.

Replaced the waffle maker.
These allowed me to donate our old waffle maker, while saving a TON of time making waffles for the family. You do have to get used to getting them into the oven (flimsy rubber + liquid waffle mix = tricky situation), but using another pan underneath helps.

What a find!
I love waffles but hated dragging my big old waffle iron out then having to clean it before storing away so I was buying frozen ones. When I saw this item I thought YES! It works as stated and I love it. Now I can have waffles whenever I want and clean up is a snap.

unclear brand & material
Disappointed that no identification, label, brand name, or directions were with this product. I ordered 2 sets, each pair were folded in half in a bag with no information or identification at all. The description of what I ordered online tells me it should be silicone suitable for baking, but cannot really tell with the item that came & am uncomfortable with not really knowing what this product I received is.
