This stuff is awesome! I used it to seal a connection between my paint sprayer and a quick connect plug (both with 1/4" NPT threads). Initially, I used Rectorseal T plus 2, which I used successfully for prior projects. For some reason, I couldn't achieve an airtight seal with Rectorseal. Loctite 542, however, produced an absolutely leak-free connection. No bubbles whatsoever when I tested the connection with soapy water after one hour. Highly recommended.

Uncertain on what to use, i risked using this product recommended by a person who worked on his fuel distributor. I tried it and has worked excellent for the past 8 months. Very happy to have my car working again.
