Candle making kit with wax melter

This is a great starter kit for anyone wanting to make candles. It has everything needed to get you started, My husband had mentioned maybe starting to make or own since everything is getting more expensive, so I bought this for us to start with. Definably stay with any older children or young teens to supervise as hot wax will burn fast. A steady hand is needed for pouring and melted wax is a little heavier than when it's solid. One thing we have started doing is saving old candle jars for reuse as we have been doing more. It's definitely good DIY project. But I would definitely put down wax paper or foil or something where you are pouring into containers in case of spills. That way you can peel the wax off to remelt and not have to scrape it off the countertop and scratch the surface up. Overall, we got a good buy as I had been watching for it to be on sale and when the price dropped, I jumped on it. Since there is no color additive, that's not an issue, but you can buy dye to use. Everything is included so it's a great buy for getting started.

This was such a craft for the kids and I to do together. The creativity with mixing scents was so much fun. Kit included everything we needed although we did purchase more decorative tins. 10/10 would recommend. This was our first time ever making candles and we can't seem to get enough of it! Well, I’ve not officially used the product yet. I have opened it up and gone through everything. I am very impressed with everything it comes with. It’s really high-quality dried lavender and I really appreciate that. It actually comes with a couple of little boxes that you can put the candles in if you want. The other thing I appreciate is that this kit can be used to make wax melts as well as candles, and I like that it is the bees wax as opposed to maybe a paraffin or something else because not everyone can use like a soy or a paraffin wax. I would definitely recommend.

I was intimidated at first not knowing anything about candle making, but everything was straight forward and pretty easy to construct candles! The dyes didn't work too well, but overall its a nice set up. I recommend.

For a beginner like myself this kit is amazing. Everything, and I do mean everything, I would need to try my hand at candle making. It was extremely well packaged and the price was excellent when I saw all the goodies it came with. I'm excited to see what I can create.

As a beginner, I would buy this kit again simply because it was a great price to get the very basic things I needed to learn. However, the oils included are not really high quality at all (honestly not to be expected at this price). I wouldn't have even knocked a star off for that because I wasn't expecting much at the price point, but every single one of them had leaked out. I didn't get a full bottle of any of them. However, I love that so many tin jars with lids were included, as well as all the other pieces. As someone who has no intention of selling, it was a great kit to start learning and to have some candles I have made myself around the house. I will buy better quality fragrance oils to make more.

She always says, “If you’re going to do something, do it right!” and, in this case, she followed her own advice, ordering this comprehensive kit which comes with all the supplies you need to make an impressive amount and variety of candles. If you are not familiar with the basics of candle making, I would highly recommend that you watch the video on the product page for this kit. The process is relatively simple; the largest hurdle that most people face is assembling the myriad of materials required. This kit solves that problem! In particular, having a portable stove top and a pouring pot dedicated to creating candles makes everything a lot easier, eliminating cleanup that can be quite time consuming.
