MOLLOM 8 Way Circuit Breaker MCB Distribution Protection Box with DIN Rail, IP65 Waterproof,for Indoor and Outdoor

I recently purchased the 8 way circuit breaker protection box, and it’s been great for organizing all the breakers in my solar backup system. The box is made from a solid PC+ABS alloy material that feels durable and looks professional. Installation was straightforward. The DIN rail and neutral/ground buss bars come pre-installed, though I had to adjust the buss bars slightly to fit perfectly. There are no pre-drilled holes for conduit, so you’ll need to drill your own. The top shell has a clear window, allowing quick monitoring of breaker status without opening the box, and it even supports a small padlock for security. It’s compact yet offers enough space for wiring if planned properly. The design is neat and professional, making my solar backup setup look organized. Highly recommended for anyone setting up a solar or off-grid backup system.

Very good quality box. The plastic feels strong and durable, and it seals well to protect the breakers from dust and moisture. Installation was straightforward and everything fit perfectly inside.

Had to cut and modify it with a multitool to get my Midnite Solar ground fault breakers to fit inside. Worked out real well. MCBs fit just fine with no modding.

Nice IP66 Waterproof DIN Rail Case / Panel! This Mollom 5 Way HA Series panel appears to be well-built out of a plastic or resin-like substance, they call "PC+ABS alloy material". It has a DIN Rail and two small buss bar type terminal strips (all included) - One for Neutral and the other for Ground. The buss bars are held in a little blue plastic holder that snaps into place in the back of the unit. In the unit that I received, these buss bars were not fully seated (see photo), but I removed the blue plastic piece, and carefully bent it in the middle (toward me), and this let the bus bars fall into place. There are no guides for where you place your holes for your conduit or cable connectors, so use your best judgement and drill your holes accordingly. This unit arrived with three water-tight connectors (for PVC pipes or metal conduit, I presume), which I did not use. This unit comes in two shells that seat together nicely to seal out dust, insects, and rain water. The base shell attaches to the wall and the top shell attaches onto the base shell with four machine screws (included). The top shell has a clear plastic window, which allows you to view the status of your devices. The window is secured by green spring-loaded clips that are moved inward to release the plastic catches at the top and bottom edge. You can even place a small padlock, or an electrical seal on the cover window, to help prevent unauthorized individuals from casual entry. I used this box to secure a high power temperature control switch and circuit breaker to operate an attic exhaust fan. I am more than happy how the project turned out. This Circuit Breaker Box feels solid, and it looks good. I saw these products used in Europe, and was happy to install this one in America. I did not see any rating, such as UL, CSA, or CE on this unit. Maybe I missed it. If this rating is a requirement by your local electrical inspector or fire inspector, you might want to investigate this product's ability to be legally used in your location.

Great just as described and good quality

I am using this for some solar system din rail breakers. So far so good - just started wiring today. It is solid enough for my needs which are pretty simple. As with all these inexpensive Din rail boxes - the plastic wouldn't take much hard service. The holes are not knockouts - you can see the indentations but need to drill them out with a stepper drill bit which works well for that. If you need just an inexpensive cheap box this works and has enough room for wires. If you want something very rugged this would not be the one I would get - look for something made of heavier metal. As far as being waterproof - I won't find out since this will be used indoors.

Perfect size to rewire the breakers in my A-Frame pop up trailer. New solar, and the old battery charger would not work with LiFePo batteries - just upgraded the whole power system, instead of buying another one of those all i one units for more money. Great value, looks great, almost done mounting and wiring.

Excellent solid product. Fitted in garden building so can’t comment as to watertightness, but perfect for the job required. Roomy enough for wiring, comes with two loose 32mm glands but I fitted 20mm ones using holesaw. Earth blocks x2 are fitted and fascia blanks supplied. Various screws/plugs/rubber washers supplied for fitting. Door hinged on left and lockable catch on right. Supplied promptly and sturdily packaged. Great value, would buy again.

Der Verteiler ist ein richtig gutes Teil. Ich habe ihn mit 5 Steckdosen, einem Multimessgerät und einem Hauptschalter bestückt die allesamt auf die Hutschiene geklickt werden. Diese hat einwandfrei gepasst sodass die Sachen auch perfekt darauf halten. Das einzige was mir nicht so gefallen hat - es sind nur zwei doppelreihige Anschlussterminals für Null und Erde dabei. Für die Phase würde ich noch ein Terminal brauchen, und ein passendes konnte ich auch mit ewiger Suche nicht finden. So habe ich mir eines gekauft und werde das wohl irgendwie dort einkleben müssen da es nicht in die vorhandene Halterung passt. Was solls - ansonsten bin ich mit dem Ding sehr zufrieden.
