This was my first time ever cutting any dog’s hair. My fur baby started to get some matting deep into his coat on his collar area and sides of his stomach that I couldn’t brush out. This happened once last year and we had to start him over at the groomer but his little butt is expensive for a haircut so I figured I’d try myself this time. I was worried about cutting him but the guards made me feel comfortable and even taking the guard off for certain areas, I did not cut him. I was able to find a good groove to really work the razor and get through the hair. I’m no pro but I feel that once I got the hang of it, it was a breeze. I did this in two days - tested it the night it arrived and shaved hair off of the battery until it died. The next day I charged it completely and the day after that I finished his cut and the battery lasted the whole time and still has battery. Probably took me an hour total between both days to get him shaped up. He was questioning the device at first but quickly got used to it and even started falling asleep at some point during his cut. So the noise level and vibration must have been soothing. So glad I ordered this and would recommend! The guards are easy to change out and it’s simple as one switch. Great beginner clipper or quick cut clipper.

Great small cordless handheld shaver. I use mine for my cat, she's 16 with health issues and not grooming as well so I use this to keep her fur shorter in a couple areas. She's not afraid of it or the noise. It comes with multiple length guards, a cleaning brush and charging cable. It also comes with a skinnier blade for shaving jobs that require a smaller cutting area. I have to watch on my cat since she was a big girl in her prime and now has some excess skin/wrinkles and the razor blade will cut her if I'm not careful; I've done it twice now by accident. 😔 it would even do a nice job for a sanitary shave if you wanted; I use a different razor to do her sanitary shave though for obvious sanitary reasons. I thought it was a good price and it does a good job as long as it's charged, which seems to last a good while too.

The unit works well clipping/shaving my Siberian kitten’s long fur. Nice size which is easy to hold and maneuver. The attachments clip on/off easily and work well. Ceramic blade keeps the unit from getting too hot. Holds charge well. The unit is not silent but the hum does not bother my kitten at all. For all those who mentioned the “plastic” blade in their review, it may look plastic but it truly is ceramic. Can’t beat it for the price.

Up until I bought this shaver I have always spent way too much money on taking my dog to the groomer. Don't get me wrong, his groomer is amazing & always does a great job, but with COVID & everything that has come to pass in the aftermath, I just couldn't afford to take him there every 3 weeks. He's a Shih Tzu, so thankfully he doesn't shed, but his hair grows fast & gets matted even faster. He is great with everything (including baths) & he'll let you do anything you need to do with him without moving or complaining, but every shaver I have bought in the past could never get through his mats. This shaver was my last purchase in hopes to lessen his trips to the groomer & boy am I grateful that I decided to give it one last try!!! This shaver is amazing!! It easily gets through any matting without pulling at your dog's hair. It has several different sizes of heads so you can choose just how short you want to go with your pup. It also has a completely different shaving head to get in between your dog's paws & around their no-no areas. Probably a TMI, but this is an issue I know many of us have with our doggies: my dog always gets stuff stuck in his hairs around his bum, but that isn't an issue anymore because this shaver lets me safely shave around there as short as can be. There is no worries about cutting him, because this shaver cannot cut (I literally put my finger on the shaver & it won't cut me. Now I'm no expert, so my dog does still go see his groomer, but this shaver has taken him from needing trips to the groomer every 3 weeks to only going every 3 months!!! And usually the main reason why he needs to still go is simply because of my fear of cutting him with scissors on his face. I'm sure the shaver would let me get his face, but that is the one area where he wiggles around & he's always done that, so it has nothing to do with the shaver (even his groomer tells me he just doesn't like getting the hair on his face cut). I love this shaver!!! It makes something I used to be too scared to do with my Bennett & turns it into something that is so easy to do & takes less time than I could ever imagine now. I strongly recommend it. We are 2 very happy customers!!!!!!

Just what I needed. I wanted clippers that were compact, easy to control and rechargeable. This item checks all those boxes. My Chow Chow doesn't really need major clipping. This item allows me to trim him quickly with the minimum amount of effort and very little noise.

This little clipper is powerful but quiet. My dog dislikes loud noises, but has no problem when I use the clipper. And you can't beat the price!

Very quiet and easy to use. Doesn't scare my kitty. Not able to use the guards due to the thickness/fuzziness of my kitty's fur. I understand that vet techs really like this clipper too!
