Works with some trial and error
I noticed some bad noise with the following setup: * PC -> HDMI -> TV * TV -> ARC -> Receiver * Receiver -> RCA -> 2x self-powered speakers Plugging this ground loop isolator into the TV or into the receiver didn't help, but plugging it into the PC did help. Moral of the story is, don't write this device off until you've tried it on *every* device in your setup.

Ground Loop Hum Go Away, Please
I purchased this product to isolate, reduce, and eliminate ground loop hum and reduce the noise floor between two stereo components. This product did not produce any changes. I also tried several other products to reduce the ground loop including the PS Audio Noise Harvester and the PAC SNI-1 RCA Ground Loop Noise Isolator. The PS Audio Noise Harvester had no effect. However, the PAC SNI-1 dropped the ground loop hum by at least 9db without any noticeable impact on sound quality. I sourced the PAC SNI-1 on another site and highly recommend if this product or the PS Audio Noise Harvester do not work for you.

Worked for me
I have a pc that i connect to my home theater with an external amplifier and it was making a chirping dial up modem sound in all of my speakers. I assumed i had a ground loop from the hdmi cable connected to it. When I unplug the hdmi it stopped. I connected the amplifier to the ground loop noise eliminator and it stopped it. This should work if you have the same setup.

Worked great. Took hum level to zero.
eDrum kit on one side of the room, mixer/amps on the other side. Each side on a different leg of the 110v N American mains power. Without the noise eliminator gizmo, 60 Hz screaming for attention. Plug the gizmo in, between the drum kit and the duplex outlet, hum goes to literal zero audibly and on the spectrum analyzer. Simple, inexpensive, works. If I were any kind of musician who needed 110v power for my drums, guitar, eCowbell, whatever, I'd sure keep one or two of these in my gig bag.

Didn’t fix my issue
Still had a ground hum but this is likely due to the environment that the equipment is in. The plug seems to be good quality and works in some applications, just not mine.
