I don't write very many reviews, but I thought I should for this light. I just received the Gmconn 1200 lumen light and so far I'm impressed for the price. It is 6 times cheaper than the TLR-1 HL of which I have 3 and just as bright. It seems solid and well made, but I cannot rate the durability yet. It takes the same batteries as the HL, but does not have the hardware to tailor to a specific firearm fit so the switch may be farther out than desired. It mounted ok on my firearm. Time will tell on the battery life and durability.

I purchased this weapons light to be mounted on a Byrna less than lethal hand weapon, to be used in home defense by my parents. This light is solidly constructed and produces a very bright beam. The option to activate the strobe feature is also a plus. The on/off switch functions just as my much more expensive lights which are on my EDC firearms.

I will start by saying that I typically do not write product reviews on Amazon. But when there is a product that can save customers money I will do so. These lights are awesome! I have run this light on one of my AR's for some time now, and through a few tactical night training courses. This light has performed flawlessly and can defiantly compete with the BIG MONEY brands. Numerous times I have promoted this light to my fellow shooters as they have been impressed with the quality, burn time and price. I now have a couple on assorted firearms. You will not be disappointed with this light.

This has been my duty light for the last 3 years or so. I've put roughly 1200 rounds down range with a 9mm with this mounted. At around 900 or so rounds is when I started having issues. The switch when you activate the light gets jarred loose on every shot and the light will turn off, even with the switch still in the on position. Now for the smaller bits, it has a nice design, I think it's like TLR 1/1HL size or so. The front led cover *is* plastic on mine, that could be an issue for durability or prolonged shooting. It's got a nice weight to it. And the mount is good. I used blue loctite and it hasn't loosened over the 3 years, I took it off and remounted it a few times as well. The coin key to tighten or loosen it was a nice touch. Just don't let it in your coin jar,.. Never see it again. When it *was* working fully, obviously it did get hot kind of quickly. The battery life is OK., I got the name brand batteries for it. If I had to buy it again.. Yea I probably would. I'm bummed that mine is currently having issues but I may break it open and see if I can't fix it. If you just want weight for range quals though, works nice. Coating is decent, little bit of slide wear and burning on the top but that's about it. If the internal switch was a bit more durable on mine, this would have been as easy 5 stars.

I bought this as a test. I'm not huge on lights on guns, but I figured it would be a good idea on my house gun. I didn't want to spend $300 on a test. I bought this 6 months ago, and have shot the pistol over 500 rounds with the light mounted. It said it had a 2.5 hour battery life, so I bought a whole blister pack of batteries. I'm still on the original battery. The only thing I've had to do is tighten the mount with the handy dime-sized driver they provide. I've been so impressed by this light, I talk it up to everyone at the gun club where I'm a range officer. Money very well spent.
