A great and I think important book for everyone
Every one should have a copy of this book. We all take our infrastructure for granted too much. This book gives a good idea at what it takes to make our lives run smoothly. It will make any reader much more appreciative of the built world around them and the people who put it there.

Fascinating read
A fascinating read, perfect for browsing through whilst having your lunch. Even if you are based in another country, the descriptions are a great read. The illustrations and writing style is both detailed yet also entertaining. I hope Grady releases another book!

Absolutely Beautiful
The book is beautifully crafted and there is much more in it than I expected. I look forward to helping my three daughters to read it. I've been following the YouTube channel for a while, so I knew this was a product of his passion, and it doesn't disappoint. My only beef is that the packaging in which it arrived did little to protect it. The top corner was damaged from a hit/fall. I didn't return it though as I'd be afraid it would come out of the authors pocket, and that doesn't seem fair to me.

Well written, informative, US centric (unsurprisingly) but still useful. Great idea to help the budding engineers of the world see it more clearly.

Interessante Einblicke und gute Erklärung zu unterschiedlichen Ingineursthemen. Das Buch ist natürlich wg. dem US Autor auch stark eingefärbt damit wie Dinge dort gebaut werden. Vieles ist zwar global allgemeingültig, im spezfiischen (etwa Stromversorgung von Stadtvierteln) aber dann doch schon unterschiedlich. Für den grundsätzlichen zusammenhang aber irrelevant und die Bebilderung ist sehr schön gemacht.
