This charger is advertised as a “42V replacement” compatible with Hiboy scooters (S2 Pro, S2 Lite, S2, KS4), but in my case it was not the correct charger and did not work. Because it wouldn’t charge my scooter at all, I reasonably assumed my old Hiboy scooter or battery was damaged. I ended up buying a brand-new Hiboy scooter for $550. When the new scooter arrived, I used the new OEM charger that came with it—and it charged my old scooter perfectly. That confirmed the problem wasn’t my scooter or battery… it was this charger. So this “compatible” charger didn’t just waste my time—it caused a chain reaction of confusion and unnecessary expense. If you’re going to sell something as compatible, it needs to actually match the correct specs and connector and function properly. This product was misleading, unreliable, and not worth the risk. Avoid it.

I had lost my original charger and this charger worked great. The charging speed was normal as it is electronic.
