Used for two different heat pump installations: a 18000 Btu and a 6000 Btu and it vacuumed both efficiently - one year apart. So it was still working great after a year in storage. I replaced the vacuum oil after that year - as recommended by the manual. Replacing the oil involves running it for about 15 mins to warm up and loosen the oil, then a hex screw to the front (have something to catch it ready underneath). The hoses and gauges worked for a nitrogen 300psi pressure test as well. Everything seems good quality - and held up to storage for a year in between uses. Would definitely recommend! If you plan on using the gauges for a pressure test, just keep in mind that some newer heat pumps recommend pressure testing at about 500psi which is beyond the accurate range of this gauge.

Product worked as it should. Pump hoses came with connections to fit the minisplit AC I was working on. Nice bag to hold all the product parts for storage. Worth the cost.

One word of caution, this kit does not have the new style of t-valve in that it won’t work with the new style Freon cans with a schrader valve. It will work in old puncture style cans. An auto parts store has an adapter for it that’s only a few bucks. Other wise it’s a decent diy set for those who know how to use it.

There's nothing wrong with the kit it works great, BUT you will need this adapter in order to get the R134A into any car, the fitting can't be put directly into the can tap. Even if it fits, you won't be able to get any refrigerant into the car without this adapter. You can find this adapter at autozone for just $3

I received this item on 8/9. Unboxed and attempted to use this item on 8/16-8/18 on my two vehicles. I am experiencing the following issues: 1. The low and high side gauges are not showing consistent readings in terms of pressure on either vehicle. 2. Although the vacuum pump creates a vacuum in the system, when hooking up to R134a cans it will not allow flow into the system via the yellow line. 3. To test if the gauge and lines are working properly, I purchased a seperate single low side gauge and line from the local auto parts store and the R134a worked without issue in refilling using the low side port. When I attempted to contact the company; I was put in an endless loop with a repeating message. Neither Amazon nor the company were willing to replace this item with a working one. After arguing with customer service repeatedly at Amazon - they are finally willing to refund my purchase. No one seemed interested in simply replacing this product. It's a record hot summer here in AZ. Very disappointed that this company isn't willing to stand behind the quality and functionality of this product.

This item was perfectly priced, functionally as advertised, and delivered on time. I used it to replace the refrigerant in one of my cars and it paid for itself with that one usage.
