So far they work good. I don’t know long term how they will work after numerous uses. They appear to be good quality. I needed a small hole so ordered this set. Best deal for the price.

Works well with paper, not too bad with felt.
I bought these to make felt eyes & needed 2 different size little circles, they are perfect sizes. (not what they’re made for, but I make it work) I just squeeze real fast they just about cut my felt all the way around. I have to use scissors for 1/4 of the larger sized circle & the small circle punches tiny circles of felt no problem. Still easier to use these than freehand tiny felt circles. For the price I couldn’t complain or find an alternative. Glad I bought them. They work great with paper for the record, and the little spring loaded covers keep the paper confetti contained.

Creates a triangular punch mark.
My local food store has a buy 5 get 1 free Soft Drink Offer. After over 10 years their old punch died. I got this for them. Makes me feel like I I saved a bit of history.

Doesn’t work on paper..
Doesn’t punch all the way through! Very disappointed. I thought it was the material I was punching through was too thick so I used a drill instead. Which was so much more work, turns out the hood puncher is just terrible, I tried it through paper today and it created half moon cuts. The punch part doesn’t align and fit through the hole. I tried another hole puncher on the original material of my first project— vinyl and it worked perfectly. This product failed me greatly and I had to drill soooo many holes that could have been punched!
