great for cleaning refrigerator coils
I used this to clean the filthy coils of my built-in refrigerator and it did a great job. It is able to bend just enough to work around obstacles and get into tight spaces. The contoured handle makes it easy to control rotation in case you get it in place and then want to fan it around a bit to get some side-to-side cleaning motion. I took a ziploc bag's worth of link and material out of the coils. I'm sure this is allowing for better cooling and will help my compressor motor last longer. I should have bought this years ago. At least now I know how easy it is to preserve the life of my refrigerator! One note: the tight spacing of my coils took a toll on this brush. When I was done I threw it out. I figure I only need to do the coils every couple of years so I'll buy a new one each time. If the bristles hadn't been so mangled, I would not have thrown it out. So you might want to keep that in mind if using for refrigerator coils: it's not as heavy duty as they claim.

Better Than I Expected
It works as advertised. The bristles are well designed for sliding in and out of dirty coils and work fine. The bending part of it is sturdy enough and has the right flexibility. It seems to be well made and didn't deteriorate any after use. Good buy.

Good for other uses
Not junk, but not far from it. Handle seperates. Breaks easily. Tip gets exposed easily, preventing use in hose. Works well cleaning out spokes of fehicle rims. Excellent even.

Very Good Quality Brush
I ordered these brushes after looking at a wide selection of brushes that all looked very flimsy. I was unsure if these would hold up but decided to try them anyway. I must say that these brushes are great for cleaning the lint trap and vent of my dryer and seem to be better quality than most out there. I highly recommend.

Stunningly horrible
I used it for grand total of 10 minutes, 15 or 20 at max. I was cleaning between two barrels and the handle came off. I wasn't putting excessive force on the brush and there is no obvious way to reconnect the handle. In addition, some bristles fell off within the first few minutes. Save yourself some money and save the land fill some trash and buy a different product.

It is as advertised
This is a very easy to use brush. It is a great value for the money. It is very flexible, yet sturdy. It is long enough to use in the dryer vent to really get the lint that is really stuck. I would highly recommend these brushes for anyone who needs to clean their vents.

I thought my 20-year old fridge was on its last legs. Compressor was becoming increasing loud and it was cycling on & off frequently and I was getting set to replace it. After Googling for a solution, one fix was to clean the cooling fins. I had always cleaned under the fridge using a cloth on a yardstick and this did a pretty good job of cleaning the horizontal fins. I pulled the fridge away from the wall and removed the carboard shield covering the compressor & compressor fan, and to my surprise, the vertical fins were completely blocked with cat hair & dust. Using the brush, I completely removed a large wad of fur & dust and replaced the shield. I can still hear the fridge running now, but nothing like it was before and it's cycling a lot less. I would never have thought that such a simple solution would have such a big effect.
