Install wasn't easy, we had to watch the video a few times to get it right. Once on, though, it is very secure as long as your truck has a locking tailgate. It looks great, doesn't stick up above the truck bed like some do. Easy to fold up out of the way, just stop at the third panel if you don't want to block your rear window. It has straps just for that purpose.

The Tonneau cover is great, but I was just a tad annoyed in that I received the cover with no instructions. When searching online the instructions did not match my cover. I called support and after 50 minutes on hold I learned that I received the new body style with different rail attachment. Support was very friendly and he did send a PDF of the instructions, but it was a little frustrating. With the instructions the install is a snap, but it was not intuitive without them. See step 7 and 10 on the attached image if you find yourself in a similar position. Otherwise the instructions are the same.

This is BakFlip Tonneau cover number 7 or 8 for me. I like these because they age well and look good. Thinking back they were actually better 10 years ago. This last one was dented on the frame on the inside, screw holes had to be enlarged with my drill to use the inserts, and the drain tubes barely fit. I have lots of experience with these covers and in my opinion the quality is worse. For over $1k they could send out a non dented cover with holes the correct size.

I had one of these for my 2014 f-250 and loved it. No leaks or issues. No matter what I went through. I then bought a 2023 f-150, and this one does leak. I understand a car wash is not really a good indication, but this one leaks in the lightest rains. I will admit, not enough to return, but I am a little disappointed in this new design. I checked and double checked my installation and checked both drainage tubes. I can't find any issues. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the leaking.

This is my second time purchasing one of these covers (first one was on a 2011 Nissan). They are very sturdy and with a locking tailgate you can securely keep items in the bed of the truck. Took me maybe 30 minutes maximum to install, I did have a helper. I’d buy another one of these covers without question. One improvement they have made since 2011 is there is a snap and small strap so you can flip 2 sections up so you could have a large item in the back of the truck without flipping the cover completely up and blocking your view out the back window.

I bought this to install on my 2021 F-150. It was a little bit tricky to install by yourself, I'd recommend having a second set of hands for install. There were aluminum shavings everywhere in the box a all over the cover. The cover itself should've been about an inch longer, if the cover is against the front bulkhead of the bed, it doesn't overlap the tailgate and vice versa. It took some shifting of the rails back and forth to get the front and rear 'lips' to cover both the bulkhead & tailgate. Once installed it looks good, but on the first significant rain it was leaking from the sides. Fast forward a few months and I was pulling the latch release and the right rear most latch broke/pulled right off the cover. This cover is way over priced for the quality.

Easy to install. Weatherproof like any other cover- expect to see water in the bed after a hard rain. The paint wear/ loss on the panels, right out of the box, was shocking for a brand new product. I would have returned the cover but for the fact I had an upcoming trip and the cover was necessary to secure items.

Fit great, easy to install and great if you need to flip it up to utilize the entire truck box.
