I picked up this wire grill and rack set for one very specific mission: dry brining steaks in the refrigerator. (Yes, dry brine — not dry grind, though my phone seems determined to invent new cooking techniques.) The main reason I chose this one is size. It’s smaller than a full sheet tray rack, which means it doesn’t take over your entire fridge like it’s paying rent. If you’ve ever tried to reorganize shelves just to fit a massive tray, you’ll appreciate this immediately. For anyone who hasn’t dry brined before, here’s the quick version: Pat your steak dry. Salt both sides. Put it on a wire rack in the fridge. Minimum two hours, but 24 hours is the sweet spot. The salt pulls moisture out, then the steak reabsorbs it—now seasoned all the way through. Translation: you don’t have to salt when cooking or eating because the steak is already perfect. Plus, the exterior dries out, so with just a light brushing of oil you get that beautiful, flavorful char every single time. Anyway… back to the rack. I’ve used this a few times now and it’s perfect for the job. Takes up very little space and comfortably holds two very large steaks. And when I say large, I mean “this cow had a good life.” Maybe not a quarter of a cow—okay, definitely not—but two solid porterhouses or three generously sized New York strips fit easily. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and doesn’t trap gunk like some racks do. I can already tell this thing is going to see a lot of action in my kitchen. I was worried about some of the reviews but honestly mine worked great. I always line the bottom with aluminum foil and add a little olive oil spray to the rack. You can fit a lot more food than what I cooked here at 400 degrees in the oven for near 40 minutes. Didn’t warp. I simply added a little dish soap and white vinegar for clean up and everything came off pretty quickly. The second picture is after cleaning it. Good price, and quality mirror like shiny product! I also appreciate that it shipped quickly and was carefully packaged.

Stainless pan and rack both are hefty and are not light weight, yet not heavy enough for me to consider them heavy duty. I have a stainless pan I've had for 20+ years that is the same weight and it's half the size. However, it is a night set. The pan did need to be scrubbed with a brillo pad to remove residue (from manufacturing process?) rather than simply washing it. The pan held up perfectly though to the brillo and no scratches were at all evident in the mirror finish afterwards. The pan did buckle and temporarily warp / flex in the 450 degree oven, but it returned to the normal flat state after it cooled a little. Overall it's a good and I'd even say pretty darn good pan set but not quite a great one.

This tray works great for light grilling in your oven, Easy to clean and store. I ordered additional pans after using my first order. It did not warp and is easy to store. My friends raved about it and ordered some for their kitchens.

Cooked my tenderloin just fine. Only used once, it is of a adequate metal gauge. Not sure what kind of metal. Stainless Steel rim. What does that mean? It looks good.

Absolutely beautiful. This is a wonderful pan , I did alot of research to find this. And chose it from other customers reviews and asked other customers. It's stainless steel and i love it clean cooking. Sturdy grill has a brace in the middle and I sent a message to seller and that's customer service I asked how it was made alot of stainless steel are just dipped. This one is not. And the thickness of the pan was express by the seller. The company seems to be straight up. So I bought it.

Great quality nice big baking sheet with rack. Mine gets a lot of use and still looks great.
