NOT A PAID REVIEW.... WOW—FOR REAL! This has been an incredible time and money saver for me! It's paid for itself in the first couple of items shipped. The value in this is genuine in every detail. It takes A LOT to become an Amazon Basics product, especially in accuracy of quality and last(durability-Low Returns). This Scale and it's features are no-brain power simple and dumbly intuitive to use. After looking at a what seemed like the same or close to this, I went with Amazon Basics, and also due to the sheer amount of weight that this can handle. Then there's the QUALITY of it that not only looks nice, but you can actually feel it. Metal plate - It's sturdy, firm in fitment to the base and clearly well made in inspection and feel. I like the packaging so much that I kept it and store it in the original packaging that functions as a case for safe containment and protective storage. You know when you're looking at something online and it's hard to discern if it's going to meet the description and claims, but you also wonder whether YOU are also going to feel that way. I'm not skeptical as a rule, however, I don't appreciate people hyping things up when they're not worthy. Time suck - This is my first scale that I have ever purchased for doing shipping items and it's exactly what it looks like in the pictures, it's the exact size that it is listed in the description, and again the ability to just plug it in and not need to read a book to learn the functions is such a relief! I sincerely RECOMMEND this scale. The Tilt Stand works nicely and cables are long for each so that if I need to ship something VERY large, that I will have no problem getting it set on the scale and being able to clearly and easily see the large numerical LED Screen from a distance. I did mention that it's It's durable, and stupid simple to use and does what I need it to do over and over again - give me correct weights accurately no matter how I change the orientation of the packages that I have placed on it. Believe me, I really wanted to know so I can get the best rates possible on shipping without having to "round-up," to the next pound, when I can now round-up to the next percentage of an ounce. Already saved me hundreds in over postage/carrier rates. Stop Looking!~ Get on with the next decision at hand and get THIS one!

Great scale - easy to use - accurate

I bought this mainly to weigh a bunch of bowling balls. We were given a bunch of used and new balls and didn't know the weights of most of them. Decided to get a scale and ended up with this one. Accuracy is good, a couple of the new balls still had the original box and the weights on the box was the same. The display is easy to read. It's easy to use, didn't have to read the instructions. It's durable enough although dropping it wouldn't be a good idea. haven't used it for anything else yet. One of these days I'll buy a calibration weight to verify the scale weight is still good as some reviews say that they show it off. Tried different spots on the scales platform with the known bowling ball weight and my scale read the same. But who knows when it'll change. But at least I have something to go by even with the balls drilled for now.

This is my 2nd purchase. I had my 1st one for aprx 3 years. Its $20, to me 3 years usage is worth $20! It is ALWAYS spot on with UPS & the post office's weight. Mine just died one day. (I do see similar reviews). When my new scale came, I tried my old scale with the new cord. It worked so I dont believe its an issue with the actual scale. It's the cord that stops working or is junk. Its a type c charger, you can buy those for $7-8. I hate returning things so am going to just keep my 2nd scale. Still worth the price in my opinion, I use it multiple times daily. I seriously just love this scale. Its lightweight & I always know my shipping is accurate which is super important for its intended purpose.

Works great and really saves me from incorrect shipping . I did notice it is a little bit off from the scales at the post office so I make that small adjustment when buying shipping labels to make sure I'm covered. Easy to use. Sturdy. Heavy packages are nothing for this little scale. Leave the packing sitting on it for a bit longer than needed to weigh to get the weight to stay on the scale long enough to see what it is before clearing back to zero. You can't see the tiny screen to read the weight when the package is still sitting on the scale. Overall, a really good scale.
