Wow! I was skeptical. I was also concerned over spending so much $$ on something that might not work. I have a 15 year old cat who began meowing incessantly at odd hours. Sometimes it was during the night other times in the middle of the day. She would walk around and go to corners or rooms and meow as if she was lost. She would not stop and it became more frequent and started driving us crazy. Every morning she would wake EARLY and demand food. It was insane. After administering morning and evening doses of Old Friend with I started noticing improved results in a few days. She began sleeping a little later 6am instead of 2:30-3am and she seemed a little better overall. By the 2 week mark she was sleeping until 6:45a and no longer screameowing intermittently. It’s been several weeks and she now sleeps in until I am ready to feed her. She seems more aware of where she is and has even run around playing. This does not cause a sedative effect but instead seems to just improve the overall security the animal feels. She’s a new kit kat! Thank you so much. This is life changing for all of us.

Like the ease of use, right into their water. Every drop is gone! My boys have FIV, are 13 years old, alert, interested and without major issues or infections. They eat, prowl and sleep well. I feel these products work.

When I give this to my cat, his mouth starts foaming from the solution. However; I do see a small improvement.

This product helped bring life back to my 19 1/2 year old cat. She was having issues (and has kidney problems) and had to have fluids at a local pet ER. After that, I bought this as a "hail Mary pass", and I truly believe this product has extended the life of my furry companion. We're going into week 7 (when I thought I had no time left), and so far, so good. I use this in conjunction with Kidney Support Gold because her kidney values were really bad, and that has also helped her considerably. She doesn't eat wet food, so I give her the drops directly from the dropper. She's not a fan of the flavor (I wish they made chicken or salmon flavor for cats), but I know it's helping, so I giver her treats immediately afterward to hopefully end on a better note.

Doesnt mix with older kitties herbal thyroid meds. Warning on label. Called the company to ask if it would b okay. Company said it would be fine as long as kitty was taking their herbal thyroid product. So untrue! Be very careful. Dont get this for your aging kitty if they have thyroid issues. My cat was sick, lethargic, and had a messed up thyroid balance for a week or two afterwards.. To say he went downhill from these vitamins was a HUGE understatement I have been using this companies thyroid gold for my cat for over 5 years and works great!. I was very dissatisfied with their knowledge of how mixing their products would affect my kitty.

My 16 year old cat had a number of health issues last year and we were really afraid we'd lose her. I started researching everything I could to try to improve her chances even as two vets pretty much told us to wait and see or stay the course. I decided to try this and another product by this same company (along with salmon oil for inflammation and another food additive for her kidneys) and could not believe the difference. She is now 17 and stable. It wouldn't be possible to completely cure her, but she is still here, she is happy and her quality of life is really good so I will take stable any day ;) I can't say this will work for every pet, but it is doing great things for my furbaby.

I have been giving this to my nearly 19yr old cat, for the past 2wks. She was getting very depressed and barely moved off of her heating pad, for the past several months. The vet didn't have any answers (without wanting me to pay thousands of dollars for an MRI--which I can't afford and feared would be even more detrimental), so I researched a little and figured out ON MY OWN, that it is more than likely arthritis and pain, affecting her. She has made a miraculous improvement and after months of suffering, is now coming into my bedroom every a.m. and demanding I get up and feed her. She is more alert, engaged, moving around much more, wanting to be brushed and even a little playful with my dogs. This is the best thing I have ever used.

My 16+ year old cat was looking very poorly. I thought the worst but decided to give her this product. I have used it before on an elderly dog and saw good results. After three weeks or so she is more like herself and her thinning coat has improved. She is much brighter in herself. I would definitely recommend this product.

I got this today, & it's going to take some time before I'll know if it's going to help the elderly cat to not just live longer BUT to have a better quality of life. It's something that probably should be mixed with wet cat food. I am very impressed with the science behind this item, & I love that it has been in business for almost a quarter of a century, when it comes to buying any type of medicine for humans & animals, one of the things I look for is how long the company has been in business. I am very impressed with this company & the quality of this item. I recommend not just this item, but also any item from this company.

My kitty is 18 years old. She has lost quite a bit of weight and wasn't her old self. Vet says she is healthy otherwise. As my kitty is very fussy, I add this to her wet food. I can honestly say that she now has more energy and she is back to her old self!

My cats had trouble going to the bathroom, very constipated, this product made an incredible behavior change. 💯 x 💯 recomendable. Gave it to my cats every day 0.25 my male cat us 8 pounds and my female 6 pounds. 16 years old. There will be no mess, just normal poop. ☺️

Our cat is 10 years old, he has some allergies, and we give him new food with caution. In addition, we have a very picky cat. We give this product as a preventative measure, in a minimal dose, and not every day. The cat is reluctant to eat food with this additive, and that is why I have not formed a clear opinion about this product. If you mix wet food with the product well, he eats only a quarter of the portion. I would like to note that he feels good, his stool has not changed, no allergy and and his appetite is good. He just does not like the taste of this additive, and it is a little difficult to persuade him to eat food with this additive. Our second young cat, if we do not keep an eye on her, can eat the cat's portion with pleasure. We do not give her this on purpose, but this is an example of how less picky cats can enjoy this additive without problems. Judging by the composition of the drug, this is a good remedy for preventing health problems for older cats, and we will continue to add it to our cat's diet, but only in a smaller dose. I will update the review if the situation changes.
