Lattafa Perfumes Velvet Rose for Unisex Eau de Parfum Spray, 3.4 Ounce

This smells identical to Lancôme La Via Est Belle. It is spot on, with a longevity of 8+ hours. I wore this to work and worked a 12 hour shift and I could still smell it when I got home. A little goes a long way. I used, rose lotion and scrub, body wash then topped it off with velvet rose. I couldn’t believe how accurate it was from the real deal. It’s a beautiful fragrance, well worth the buy. I will be purchasing this again. They really nailed this fragrance.

First of all, the packaging is great. The velvety box protects the bottle. The scent leans more feminine. You get the sweet smell of roses and spices with a little vanilla and oud. It's not too sweet or overpowering. It's pleasant. It lasts a while on me and definitely last for hours on my clothes. I would recommend this scent. Update: After the scent macerated, I liked this before but now I love this! I really don't get the vanilla anymore. So, it's not as sweet as it was at first. It's a clean soapy rose, slightly sweet scent with a hint of wood & spice. So pleasant & comforting like you just stepped out of the shower. The scent lasts all day! Easily one of my favorites next to Amethyst.

Bought this as a blind buy. This brand can be a hit or miss but does produce some good quality fragrances. Fragrance is a nice floral, simple, but I think it needs to macerate. I will come back in a month and update this review.

First of all, the packaging is gorgeous and is something I absolutely want on my vanity. When I opened the perfume & first smelled it, I immediately thought “old lady” for a minute, but that was before it dried & settled and within seconds, I was like “wait, let me smell that again, that’s lovely”. I’m a fairly low-maintenance woman in my early 30s, so I’m not typically one for the heavy floral fragrances, but this one is complex enough to not be overpowering. For everyday wear, it layers really well to match with a clean powder-y fragrance like Victorias Secret Heavenly, and for date night, I layer it with something sexy like jasmine & sandalwood. It is lovely on its own, absolutely, but I think it’s a fantastic perfume to use to elevate some of those staple scents.

There’s nothing impactful about it. It’s a nice rose perfume but that’s it.

Smell really nice

Read the reviews hoping that this velvet rose perfume would smell somewhat decent. My nose hates it. It smells like ripe azz-whole. Terrible scent. Prive rose doesn’t stay that long even though it’s the edp. I’m always disappointed with almost every lattafa perfume I’ve ever bought. I think this is my sign to just stop purchasing lattafa perfumes.

Came in its package and as advertised. At first, I didn't like the scent, but after a few sprays, it grew on me, and it is now the only powdery perfume in my collection (I'm a heavy floral and gourmand lover). Did not disappoint.

Very strong chemically/alcohol kind of smell- if you’re prone to headaches/migraines- this is definitely NOT the one to get. Kind of like it hasn’t all been blended well together or something. Lovely packaging, but yeah, not a fan.
