Velo Vinyl Leather Grips - Brown, for 7/8" Handle Bars of Beach Cruiser Bikes

The feel of the material is excellent. It isn’t leather but it feels strong and the stitching is strong and solid. I have an old English bike with very hard and narrow grips. I ended up putting these over the hardened and rather narrow original grips. Took some effort and alcohol definitely helped. It went in differently on the two sides because, on one side the original grip was loose enough to rotate, but the other side, the original grip was stuck. I was finally able to get both on and put the two end caps to finish the look. The end result is that these grips improved my hands’ ability to hold on and with comfort. I now pretty much don’t need the gloves. They feel great and cushy. Update: After over a thousand miles, the grips are still fine and the cords stitching that finish the pieces are still holding in good shape.

Very soft and comfortable grips. I didn’t have any zip ties handy to install so I sprayed some hairspray inside them and they slid on nicely. Once the hairspray dries, they stay in place. The stitching is an excellent detail and makes a nice accent. Highly recommend!!!

Got these for my wife's bike. She had a Huffy Cruiser which had some rubber grips. Those grips melted in the Texas heat! So we went with these vinyl grips. They fit very snug and were a bit of a pain to get on, however we don't have to worry about them slipping off while she is riding. The quality of the craftsmanship is great and match her bike perfectly. I would purchase these again, they are a great value!

Redid an old spring rocking horse and used these to put over the bars to hold on to. Nice big grips with the look of leather to outfit the horse

These look great, feel great. Followed advice about rubbing alcohol, just a little bit makes them slide on with a little bit of pressure and a light twisting motion. Highly recommend these for a vintage look that works!

Man these things are so amazing but they're impossible to get on unless you have oil or something. Some form of lubricant to make it easier. I love the look of them and I feel like they add to the look of my brown Huffy Panama Jack bike I just got recently. Amazing value, quality, and fancy upgrade for the price.

Definitely use rubbing alcohol to apply!! Saves effort and time, and allows better placement. Very nice & cushioned handles, looks sharp. Perfect colors to match my Panama Jack Beach Cruiser. Very happy with product

I love them. They are very comfortable, due to the foam interior. The colour exactly matches the brown Avenir Classic Saddle. The stitching provides some extra grip, as well. They may seem slightly lose when first installed, but it very quickly tightened up and are nice and snug. They are larger than the hard rubber grips they replaced, both in length and diametre, but it's nice.
