I've used most of the headers that came with the set for my projects. The crimp tool still looks brand new and I've ordered more connectors. It works fine and applies pressure evenly which is important for working with these crimp on ribbon connectors. The tool is a little cumbersome to load because the design is very basic, but for the price it is expected and good for occasional use by professionals and hobbyists. If someone needed to crimp hundreds of connectors a day, they should consider a more sophisticated tool (at 10X the price)

I thought this was a one kit fix all I need a 24 wire ribbon And this kit comes with eight teens and 26

Found this kit to work perfect for my needs. Learning curve took about 15 seconds and had a fully functional 16 pin cable on my first attempt. The replacement cable I was after sold for about the same price as this kit, so I consider that a win. I reused the original cable I was replacing, just cut an inch off the damaged side. I cant speak on the color ribbons included, but I'd imagine they serve the purpose they are intended for.

O so easy with this. Fiddly to get anvil in handles, but done in two ticks after that.
