If you’re looking for an all-around speaker for your car audio, look no further—you’ve found it with the DS18. These speakers are amazing for a well-balanced sound system. I personally love them. I installed them in the soundbar of my 2013 Jeep Wrangler, and they fit perfectly with the bracket. Installation was straightforward, and everything lined up great. They get loud, deliver crisp vocals, and still handle bass really well. If you want something that gives you a full sound (vocals, mids, and some bass), I’d definitely recommend these over bullet speakers. Plus, they’re more affordable and absolutely worth the money. One thing I highly recommend is adding an amplifier. Most factory or standard head units don’t provide enough power to get the full performance out of these speakers. With an amp, they really come alive. Overall, I would definitely buy these again. Highly recommend.

I installed these onto the front doors of my 2010 Camry LE while I installed sound deadening material. A metra speaker bracket and Camry specific speaker harness are required and is plug and play. Once installed, I tuned the EQ to my liking and overall, they sound great. Lots of detail, no distortion, and handles the 50W my head unit outputs just fine. With that said, there isn’t a lot of low end if that’s something you’re looking for, especially compared to Toyota’s custom JBL speaker for this generation’s Camry. The issue I had with the JBL was that while it had lots of bass, it sounded muddy. These on the other hand are crystal clear and have a good sound stage which is what I was looking for. On another note, the sound is perfect, almost overkill for a computer desk speaker set up. Paired with DS-18’s tweeters, a subwoofer for the low end, and sound deadening material all around, my Camry sounds great. Absolutely no complaints.

These things pack a punch! Extremely loud for 4 inch speakers & very good price for what you get. They function well out of the box and glad it came with mounting hardware and speaker wires. The size is perfect for my application and the build quality feels very durable on them.

They sound great and were a super easy instal sometimes the speaker I have on the right side rattles just a tad bit but can’t seem to figure out why.

Good for the price, they distort pretty easily. The DB advertised is not correct and the supplied wires are super small.

These are pretty good high range speakers but do distort quickly and there is better out there for the money

DS18 build quality is fantastic, the 4x6 is a hard speaker to have sound good and I’m super pleased with these, I would love to hook up an amp to them but I have the power coming from an after market head unit and they have great sound overall, I’d definitely recommend getting some sound deadening to put around the speaker.
