I've used Cosequin for our horses for years with success so when my pup had an issue I was quick put her on these. About 6 months ago I started my pup on Dasuquin supplements, and waited to see how they would work for her before reviewing. For reference: 6.6lb Min Pin mix, 3 years old. I took her in because she injured her back leg being a spaz and superman jumping off the patio steps. Vet suggested that once the acute issue heals, she is likely to have arthritis as she ages. While I don't believe she has arthritis now, I have seen a marked improvement in her movements since she has been on these, if possible, she's even more zoomie now, ha! She seems more comfortable running, jumping, and even walking. And to be fair, I didn't see any noticeable issues before the injury but I have seen that since being on them she runs faster and seems just more nimble than before. When I told him I was going to start these, Vet told me to give her a 1/2 of a chew, once a day with a meal. She takes them freely, and acts as if it is her "least favorite" treat. Easily eating it with no struggle but before consuming she looks up at me with the "can I have something else instead?" face. When nothing else is offered, she readily chomps it down. Then she gets her dinner meal and she has never had an issue with her tummy from them. I think the key to easy administration is that I have always given them as a "treat" and used lots and lots of praise and excitement so that she wants them excitedly. Notes: they can be a little tough to cut evenly, they crumble a bit but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to do. They smell sort of medicinal and also sort of meaty-they don't smell good, they don't smell bad; but I have noticed that the scent increases as time goes on and as I near the end of the batch they smell almost a little stale-granted, they have been open for 6 months by the time I am at the end of the bag here. I store them in an empty treat container for ease and a better air tight seal which I believe has kept the moisture better for the long haul. Since she is only getting 1/2 a day, it's a great value for me, but I can see how it would be costly for larger dogs that need more chews to meet the dose needed for relief. And last, it does take some time to start seeing a difference. Give it at least 2 months on the supplement before you assess if there is any sort of improvement. Take a video on Day 1 and Day 60 and compare for yourself. Overall: I 100% recommend these to anyone who wants to supplement their dog and have already recommended them to a few people who are now also using them.

The chews are easy to give and didn’t upset his stomach, which is a big plus for sensitive dogs. I like that the formula includes glucosamine, chondroitin, and ASU, and feels like a high-quality, vet-trusted supplement rather than something generic. We’ll definitely continue using this for ongoing joint support, especially for aging or mobility-challenged dogs.

I started using this product completely by accident after a suggestion from a veterinarian I had brought my dog to for a paw injury. I mentioned she was getting older and a little stiff and it was bothering me and probably my dog a whole lot more than me. There are competitive products and I tried one or two since originally getting this and there is no comparison. Within a week or less I saw a dramatic Improvement in my Patti girlies energy and movement. She's older and I am seeing her do things and reach places without the hardship and effort she had prior. Since I purchased this and after exploring another option or two I have to say forget about everything else buy this. The other thing that might be important to mention for people who have dogs that have special needs such as my girl. I have to be careful with her as she is on prescription food and prone to kidney stones, let me tell you every other product has a kidney stone warning somewhere hidden in the labeling or there was a warning about them but this particular product does not. It's hard for me to find things for her and this was the happiest accident ever. No side effects or stomach distress and certainly not a worry about any future kidney stones. Give it a try and you may see a difference in your dog's Mobility and Agility within days or certainly no later than a week or two. It's really important for those of us who consider our dog or other petsin our family's to know of products such as this one which does not cause any harm and it genuinely only helps and 2 just see an older cat or in my case a dog seem to act like she did when she was much younger, was and is just as amazing and heartwarming. I won't mention the name of their largest competitor but I did try them out and I saw no improvement. I saved a few dollars but it wasn't worth it Please go with this you won't regret it and neither will your fur babies young or old if they're showing any signs of arthritic conditions or Mobility problems. This Dasuquin MSM will be with us 4 a lifetime. It's an amazing product with no side effects to date. Trust me if there was going to be something that would impact or make my Patti girl sick I would certainly know it by now and nothing of the kind is happening. Therefore if you have an older dog like a senior don't worry this is the product you want to have just to see what appears to be like evolution in reverse as far as your older dog behaving much more puppyish pretty darn quick. Total breakthrough in a natural supplement as opposed to giving your four-legged family member medications for the obvious signs of Aging and arthritis or general stiffness which could happen in larger dogs even at younger stages of their life.

I've been consistently using this supplement for my dog for about a year, and I'm genuinely impressed with the results. There's been a dramatic improvement in her mobility, she’s so much more comfortable and active on our walks now, like a whole new level of energy. It’s also a breeze to give it to her, she really enjoys the taste and smell, so I never have any trouble with feeding it. Overall, it’s been a fantastic addition to her routine, and I’d absolutely recommend it to other pet owners.

Its pretty good at helping my small dog with joint issues. I like that it's veterinarian recommended and contains helpful ingredients like glucosamine and MSM. The soft chews are easy to serve, which makes giving them to my dog hassle-free. I do wish the price was lower and that there were larger pack sizes available. Organic ingredients would be a nice addition, but overall, it's a decent product for joint health support.

My boxer loves these and helped my bulldog have no issues at 11 years old.

Got these for my dog when I thought she was having some arthritic problems, turns out she wasn't, good to have on hand for if she needs it.

Going on the recommendation of my pups rehabilitation coach, I purchased this product. He’s only been on it a week so I cannot comment on how it is. Update : 6 months later Getting great results.

The loss of the star is due to price which seems a bit high and the taste. Nope I didn’t give them a try but to get my dog to eat them I need to pretend it’s a treat. Not sure how long that will last before he flat out refuses to eat them.

It worked the very first week . After my dog started to take it ( seems very yummy as well , she loves it) her shaky legs was hundred percent better.

I can barely break these with my hands. One of my dogs won’t eat them even broken up. Bad taste?
