1 year review- Awesome microphone, for the price you can’t beat it honestly. the LED is awesome on it; although you cannot change its colors. Hopefully in the future they will tweak this and Make software for their lighting Gear. The microphone sound obviously isn’t going to beat a blue yeti, or a hyper x for the price; mainly just talking about the background sound it picks up, which can be fixed with software. But if you run the gain low and have the mic close you’re set. the Sound interface in the mic overall is pretty good i couldn’t have any complaints like i said the price is amazing for what you get and you can seamlessly adjust with the knobs on the mic which is a huge plus. Overall, I’ve just loved the hell out of the mic as it features the push to mute and hold to turn off features as well. If you just want a cool setup and you’re not making content get this mic for sure. If you’re trying to make content on a budget, use software to fix the background capture sounds. However my mic is still going strong standing for over 30 dollars So i think it pays for itself.

For the price, this is a really good microphone. Clear and crisp. It has a mute option on top of the mic by just tapping it. It has a dial to adjust the input level on capturing sound. It has another dial to adjust volume, and it has a built in "Direct Monitor," mode that you can NOT turn off. This basically means that you can hear your own voice and other sounds in the room that the mic picks up through the headphones, which I like tbh. Just FYI for PS5 players: You will NOT produce the same quality when using this mic because the PS5 has to "compress," the mic so that it's able to work. But on your phone/PC, it's good 👍

I've gone through quite a few mics in the past few months and so when my previous one broke I was on the hunt for a new one. Zealsound is BY FAR the best I've found in terms of quality for price. It's worth it! 100%. The features as well as smooth functionality of this mic are really what sold me. Super clean and crisp sounds with little to no background noise. You can't even hear my dog bark. I keep it about 16 inches from my face because I need space to work and it picks up sound so amazingly with minimal effort on my part. The mute feature is also incredible. Swipe or tap and it's that easy. I also really enjoy that the headset volume and gain are two separate diodes which allows me to really hone in for controls. Honestly really enjoy this zealsound mic. Absolutely love it. -Natalie Baker

It’s a good mic for recording but my only concern is that sometimes when I play games, according to my gaming buddies, I sound muffled. It could be the sound system of the game but who knows. I use this a lot for recording songs and it’s really good! Gaming wise, I guess also invest in a good headset to pair with the mic because I got a cheap one and I guess that also explains why.

Sound quality is good when I first got it. The microphone lights up when it is connected which is nice. However, after 4 months of having this product, it lights up but doesn’t work anymore. So durability was a huge disappointment for the price paid. Update: the supplier was helpful in fixing this problem.

I really love this microphone and the sound quality is awesome! I use it for my Tik Tok live and everyone hears me clearly with this microphone. It plugs right into my iPhone and I also love the LED lights that change colors! Great microphone for the money and it won’t break your bank!

I liked this one as soon as I saw it. Black and red are my colors, and the rubber band parts of the shock mount give that touch of red to contrast with the black that makes this guy appealing even with the RGB function turned off (Long press on the touch key on top of the mic, short touch will Mute). You can hear in my video that the quality of the mic doesn't falter regardless of its orientation to my speaking, but works great when in the traditional position set up a few inches in front of my voice like a condenser mic should be. The pop filter works great without being cumbersome and the mic just does what it's supposed to. Used this while streaming online and am very happy with the results!! Loved the RGB functionality that added to the ambiance of my Twitch stream... you don't always know what you're missing and I feel like this bad boy made me feel more "gamer", sorry if that sounds dumb. I am very pleased with the performance of this mic. I do have another ZealSound mic that works amazingly as well without the RGB function but has noise cancelation embedded into it. I wish this one had that function as well, but if I'm gaming later at night the noise cancellation isn't necessary and the RGB will be a fun addition. Fit well onto my boom mic with the adapter. Great mic guys. There might be better mics out there, but they'd be way above my price range and I wouldn't need those anyway with the quality I've found with ZealSound mics.

I film on my iPhone 12 ( base model) , so no fancy audio, and finally decided to get an external mic, I went through 2 others before getting this one, and yeah, I'm pretty happy with it, I instantly noticed an improvement, I went from sounding like I was talking inside a plastic bucket to having a more full-bodied sound, it eliminated that " air" background sound, , I no longer sound tingy, and I also don't sound like Im mostly coming out of just one speaker, this compared to the other 2 I bought on amazon ( for around $30-$40 each) is the best! Just uploaded my first video recorded with this mic and I wish I could re-record them all with this it's not the best on the market, but it's the best for $50-$60 that I have personally used, and for the kind of videos I make ( tutorials) , it's more than good enough as I don't have to game with it or use it outside, also I need to point out that it sounds just as good about 3 feet away from where I'm recording as it does when it's just about 6-8 inches from my face, that impressed me a lot ( I admit I can do without the RBG lights) but I realize its a " gaming" mic. , if you want to see what it sounds like on youtube ( because as you may or may not know, youtube reduces the quality of uploads) check out the videos I made after ( 6/25/2023) , all the videos before that date are with just my phone's internal mic, Channel name" Just Vintage Crochet "
