These cookie cutters worked well for my Day of the Dead cookie decorating party. They should come with a recipe, though. My cookies were fun to decorate and pretty, but didn't taste good.

We are novices, (first time making iced sugar cookies) so we needed the cookie cutter to have a stamp and leave imprint. I like the different designs, how they fit together for storage and the price could not be beat. Highly recommend!

These are amazing! Even if you do not want to decorate, the designs are beautiful. Each one is super easy to use and with a little practice you can get perfect stamps. Step one, use cool/cold dough so it doesn’t spread as much. Step 2, using the shape/stencil, stamp the skull first! Step 3, using the cutter/stencil, align it to the design you just stamped and then cut. Doing it that way will ensure the outside shape of the skull does not get pushed out with the force of the stamping process. Both ways work well so do some of each. Note: stamp the shape evenly and deeper then you think you want because it will rise a little while baking.

These were perfect keep sakes for our Dia de las Muertos party. You can hang them like a banner as well.

Ok, so here’s the thing. These are great if you don’t want to ice the entire cookie. If you do like to flood the background then ice the “face,” you lose the imprint design. I tried both ways but ended up just icing the design. Next time I may try a powdered sugar coating before I ice them to give the cookie a little more color. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and will most definitely use them over and over. They are sturdy, easy to use, a great size, etc.

for some reason I thought it was made of silicone and I was worried how well they'd work with clay but they are a good hard plastic and I absolutely LOVE using them. they work so well and they look so good. I'm so happy I bought.

I had looked at other skull cookie cutters, but they were bigger. This is not only the perfect size, but I got twice as many templates as I originally thought! I thought there were three, but they are reversible and have three more on the back! And to top it off they all fit nicely to create their own compact self-container so they're not just loose in your storage area! The templates fit snugly into the base for stamping and pop out easily to switch out, thanks to a large hole to push them out. Great product! I would consider getting some of their other designs as well!

I bake a lot of cookies and this set of a cookie cutter plus 6 impression skull molds are excellent. Made of sturdy quality plastic with deep impressions. I already own a similar wilton cutter mold and these Tovolo ones are SO MUCH BETTER. See my comparison photo. They make a good sized cookie 3 and half inches by 2 and half inches ( 9cm by 6.5) I tried different ways of using them and found i got best results when I rolled the dough to 3/8 inch, then chilled it for a couple of minutes to firm up, before pressing molds into colder dough and cutting out separately. If you have your dough too soft the mold squishes the shape. I will also try plain skull head shaped cookies then decorate them with skull impressions in fondant icing and colouring with edible pens. These are Great skull cookies for my grand children at any time of year and really FANTASTIC “day of the dead” or halloween cookies when used with fondant and edible pens or piped icing.

Made cut out biscuits with my two grandsons - they enjoyed the process from mixing to colouring imprint with coloured icings - the cut out and imprint worked well and it meant they were happy with the outcome without covering the whole biscuit with icing
