Works Wonderfully & Revives Lawn Health!
This lawn aerator works exceptionally well! It has plenty of spikes to do the job quickly and efficiently, and it really does revive lawn health. I've noticed a visible difference in how green and healthy my grass looks after using this. The ease of assembly is fantastic—it went together smoothly without any confusing instructions or missing parts. I was ready to use it in just minutes. The build quality is outstanding. This feels solid and well-constructed, not flimsy or cheap. You can tell it's built to handle regular use and last for many seasons. It's very stable and durable, which gives me confidence when I'm using it. Despite being lightweight, it's incredibly sturdy and easy to use as well as good stability. The lightweight design means less fatigue during use, but it doesn't sacrifice strength or effectiveness. The functionality is excellent. It does exactly what it's supposed to do—aerates the lawn thoroughly and evenly with minimal effort on your part. The tool size is perfect—not too bulky to maneuver, but substantial enough to cover ground efficiently. It strikes the ideal balance between usability and effectiveness. The value for the money is superb. For what you pay, you're getting professional-quality results without the professional price tag. The spike size is just right for proper soil penetration. The spikes are long enough to really get down into the soil and create meaningful aeration, not just surface scratches. The overall size is large enough to make the job go faster, which I really appreciate. Less time aerating means more time enjoying the results! If you want to improve your lawn's health without hiring professionals, this is the tool you need. Highly recommend!

It is What it is
It's a spike aerator and it does what a spike aerator does. It doesn't make large wholes or remove plugs from you lawn. Most of the negative reviews I read are based around the soil conditions of the users. Some said it was too hard to push into the ground. Well that's because their soil was heavily compacted. Which is the reason for aerating in the first place. Maybe they should tell people to water your lawn thoroughly the day before. But that's just common sense. It doesn't make huge holes "for the seed to fall into." It's not supposed to. You don't want the seed to fall 2 or 3 inches into the ground. It won't germinate. "It's a lot of work." That should be obvious. It does what it's designed to do for a reasonable price. It's well built and easy to assemble. Some people complained about the tools that come with it. I'm from a generation where everyone had their own set of wrenches. I'm 64 and it pretty much wore me out after two hours of stomping this thing into the ground and pulling it out. But I expecting nothing less. Use it on damp soil. Once you get it into the soil, rock it back and forth lightly as you bring it out. The harder it is to get it into the ground, the more you need to aerate that section. I punched about 6000 holes in a 900 sqft section of my lawn in a little over two hours. I do not plan to do the other 8000+ sqft of my lawn with this tool. I could, but it would take me days and days to do. There are other, much more expensive, devices for that.

Sturdy, Effective, and Easy to Use
I’ve been using the Walensee Lawn Aerator Spike Tool for about a week now, and I’m genuinely impressed. Assembly was super easy with a few bolts, which saved time and hassle right out of the box. The 15 iron spikes are solid and well-positioned, making it easy to get good soil penetration without too much effort. It also came with a few extra spikes just in case. The handle is comfortable and the overall build feels durable and light weight—no wobbling or cheap parts. I used it after watering the lawn lightly, and it worked great for loosening compacted soil and improving drainage. I just used it and will be waiting a few weeks to update this review to share my thoughts. Perfect for a small to medium-sized yard. If you're looking for an affordable, manual way to aerate without investing in expensive machinery, this tool is a no-brainer. Highly recommended for any DIY lawn enthusiast!

Easy-to-use manual aerator - worked great!
Works very well. Extremely sturdy tool. It pieced together very quickly - all tools provided. I was concerned it may be too short once I put it together, but it proved to be perfect for my 5'8" height. The grip was comfortable as well. It has a bit of padding on the handles and I wore gloves as well. I was able to press the spikes deep into the clay soil to aerate and create places for the new grass seeds to take root. It was slow-going (as I expected) but I had very little issues. These are so sharp that it pierced pieces of wood that I didn't even know had been left by the builders and landscapers. I pulled out large pieces, thus clearing debris out of my lawn I didn't even know was hiding under the soil. Please note, I DID prep my lawn by cutting it low and watered the clay soil the day before so that it would be easy to press into the soil.

Great Product for punching holes in a lawn - but spikes rust too easily
Nice product and works fine, but the spikes are just plain steel so when you are done using it one must clean it off, dry it off and put it away in a dry place. I left mine in a dry part of the patio and all the spikes rusted which makes future use much more difficult since the spikes do not slide into the ground. Some coating or stainless steel would greatly improve the product.

Space-saving aerator.
This manual spike aerator is an ideal tool for your lawn. I had to add dirt in some low areas and I read where you should use an aerator before laying dirt to promote good drainage. This tool was perfect for that as I only had about 5 low spots. I had no problem assembling it; and it comes with extra spikes if you need it. No issues with cleaning it, just rinse off. After use I hang it on the wall with the rest of the tools in my garage. Easy enough, doesn't take up space like a lawn mower would. Great value for the money spent and so easy to use. Just step on it and it sinks in the ground, Perfet!
