Nice, warm blanket!
This blanket is very soft and warm, a good value. The foot pocket keeps the blanket in place. It has helped my husband stay comfortable during the cold winter as he recovers from cancer treatment.

Wonderful throw blanket!!
Best electric blanket I've ever had in my 68 years young!! This throw electric blanket is perfect size not too big or small for me. I use it on the couch and on my bed. Love how I can use the foot pockets when needed watching TV. Very beautiful soft material and it drapes nicely around me. Not too thin but can barely, if not at all, feel the wires in it. Blanket is very classy looking. Tho my eyes were really rolling on paying $80.00 for it, which is at least double what I've ever paid. But it's worth it. I read comments on a lot of other brands and they had a lot of issues with them so I decided on this brand. I will sure baby it by following the washing instructions because I certainly don't want to ruin it. Also very sturdy, easy to work and read, heating control unit. It heats up fast and turns off as timed. Only complaint I have is the tag is sewed on the top of it. But over all, I'm very impressed with this throw blanket and I would buy one again. I recommend it!!

Nice Throw!
This is a really nice throw. It's nice and soft. Heat levels are plenty to keep me warm. Rich burgundy color on the outsid that is silky and feels great. Sherpa on the inside to keep you nice and warm even when you don't use the heat. A bit pricey but I really like it.

Decent blanket to keep the chill out
The blanket is soft and comfortable. You can feel the heating wires if you are pressing down, but they aren't uncomfortable. The heat level is lower than anticipated. It's good to keep off the chill, but it's not great at warming beyond that. Foot pockets are great and the size is very nice for watching tv. The foot pocket is a little big- occasionally have trouble getting my feet out when I want to get up. Good enough to keep and use, but I would not purchase again.

If you're always cold, you need this!!
I love this throw! The foot pockets are deep with a seam separating the feet. I'm 5'5" and the pockets go about halfway up my calves. The fabric is plush and soft. The control has heat levels and several timer settings. I will say the highest heat level (6) is TOASTY! Several times I've gotten too hot and had to crank it down. But that's a good thing because I'm always cold. I highly recommend this product and would purchase it again for myself and others.

Would I buy it again? Probably not.
My trusty old nondescript heated throw bit the dust at the beginning of this heating season after many, many years of faithful service. I went looking for a replacement and quickly narrowed it down to three. This one was quite a bit more expensive than the other two but it offered a wider range of heating levels and times before shut-off plus it had a nice looking pocket at the bottom for my always chilly toes. And it was a Westinghouse. My experience with this brand has been very positive over the years, including with several electric blankets. I ordered it. When I unwrapped it I liked the feel of it; the outer side is so soft to the feel and the inner side is a sherpa fabric, also soft. The throw itself is relatively light compared to what I was expecting. Normally I prefer a heavier throw but as I age my arthritic hands have trouble handling the heavier items and the lighter weight of this one has proven to be an advantage. The control is attached at the foot of the throw. This makes sense on a blanket but not on a throw. The blanket cords are designed differently and allow for the control itself to be placed on your bedside table. The single cord on the throw doesn't work that way. The control needs to be handy to reach and it is anything but when it is located at your feet. Common sense says it would be easier to reach if it were closer to your head. I thought about flipping the throw around with the foot at my head but remember - this one has the foot pockets. I tried laying the cord across my legs and lap but that only works until I move and it falls off, landing out of reach. I'm sererely arthritic so that is no small thing. It means I have to lean forward, find the control, and go fishing for it with my pic-stick. This is a major irritation. The controls are simple and intuitive, even without reading the manual first. There are 6 heat levels. I'm someone who finds it difficult to get warmed up and stay that way in the winter. I started out on level 3, figuring I would be notching it up at least once or twice. About 20 minutes later I realized I was too hot. I gave the throw a couple shakes to cool myself off and turned it down to level 2 which was exactly the level that gave me the amount of heat I wanted. I assumed (wrongly) that when it said it had shut-off times up to 10 hours that I could choose the number of hours I wanted. That proved to be only partially true. I can chose 2, 4, 8, or 10 hours. That's just a minor irritation and I've made my peace with it. When you look at the control it indicates which level you chose and the countdown only appears in 2 hour increments. As I used the throw I thought the throw was turning off sooner than the time I had chosen but thought it was probably my imagination. It continued until one day I knew for sure it had turned off early. I started noting the time when I turned it on and sure enough, it does turn off earlier than set. And it does so on all 4 levels. Now for the other big irritation - the foot pocket. The pocket is simple enough; the end of the throw is turned back on itself and the sides are hemmed. Then the center of the bottom is attached to the front of the throw. This leaves the width of the throw open to put your feet in - and for your feet to fall out of the pocket if you move. And then you have to get your feet back in the pocket. This may be simple if you are young and agile, but not if you're old and arthritic. Also because the openings of the foot pockets are so large and floppy, they catch on everything. They catch on my footstool every single time I try to remove the throw from my lap. Trying to flip it off is never successful. I have to bend dowm and remove each corner. After I had used the throw for a few hours I realized that my torso was toasty but my feet and my shoulders, upper arms, and neck were not. Now, on me, those are the areas that get the coldest and need the benefits of the throw the most. I examined the throw and found there was a good reason for the lack of heat. On the upper end the wiring stops 12" from the end. I understand leaving a small border of the throw without wiring. This is where most people will grab the throw to pull it up or reposition it and the wires would eventually get damaged. But a full foot! Down at the bottom end is a different story. I doubt that most people will be tugging at the foot of their throw with any regularity. The foot pockets are 17 1/2" deep but the major part of the wiring only extends down 8" from the top. There is a double wire that runs across the pocket to the control cord 4" below the rest of the wiring. There is no wiring on the underside of the pocket. When I put my feet in the pocket my tendency is to push them all the way to the bottom so they end up where there is no heat. I've owned a number of heated throws over the years and none of them has ever left so much material unheated. The construction is solid. The seams are straight and finished. The throw is squared as are the pockets. In summation, would I buy this heated throw again? Probably not. I paid extra for several features that turned out not to be pluses.

It's so soft and cozy. The best part it has foot pockets to keep your feet nice and toasty! You don't need to fold the end of the blanket to cover your feet just slide them in the pockets and your done! Wish I invented it! Excellent quality and price!

This blanket was the key that caused my 2 dogs to finally snuggle up together. I bought the blanket for me but the dogs had other plans. I love the little foot pouch (when my dogs will allow me to use the blanket). I ended up buying a second blanket of the same brand but without the foot pouch so my dogs have their own... they have now taken over BOTH blankets lol Great item!
