It doesn't work.
It requires Chinese Drivers. It uses entirely different chip than most serial comms. CH341 chip. It's on github. However, even I installed the driver, it still doesn't work. It does detect that it is being used, however it can't communicate properly. Something is faulty in the drivers. Waste of time and money. Get something else.

Had an older cable and Windows told me the chip was out of date so I bought this one. It worked perfectly.
