Wouldn’t change a thing!
These things are worth every penny. Chrystal clear image and very good color without much in the way of chromatic aberration. The “Auto Focus” is a bit of a misnomer as you do have to manually adjust the focus on each eye, but this allows you to set them to different focal depths and not need to mess with them much within that range of distances. It sort of tricks your brain into making the image mostly in focus within the set ranges. It’s very intuitive and easy to set on the fly. The objective lease covers seal very securely but you won’t have to wrestle them loose, and they’re captive so you can just pop them loose and they’ll hang on to the binoculars out of the way without interfering with your view. Rear caps are one piece and not the most secure, but that can be remedied with a ranger band or elastic hair tie across the bridge and they’ll be fine. Comes with a pretty awesome desert camo padded soft case and tan neck strap as well. Overall 10/10 they feel rugged and well made. Super functional and you won’t feel like you are at a loss of value.

Compare these to 8X30 and 10X50 Steiner Military Marine models
I have had a pair of the Steiner 8X30 Military Marine for years and love them, they are terrific, lightweight, compact and sharp in daylight but the small objectives are not ideal for night time or astronomy viewing, you will get some ghostly halos from bright objects in the night. But if you are planning on hiking or biking with binocs then you should probably choose the compact version over these 7X50 full size ones which are twice as big and heavy. I purchased both the 7X50 and the 10X50 to compare primarily for quick viewing of the night sky in conjunction with our telescope. I chose to keep the 7X50 and returned the 10X50. There are good reasons why 7X50 is the marine standard. The 10X magnification does not make much difference, the 7X seemed noticeably clearer and is much easier to hold steady which is more important to good viewing than the magnification. The image is super sharp and bright from edge to edge of the view, IMHO it really could not be appreciably better at any price point. Unless you're going into combat or the most brutal conditions these are as good as you will ever need. We now keep these full size binocs in our RV for our general primary and astronomical use and the compact 8X30 under the seat in our towed car for our mobile expeditions. The best of all viewing worlds!

High quality, heavy
Wanted these for a long time. Finally pulled the trigger. They are heavy but that makes viewing more stable. Not something I would want to hike a 14er with though. Astigmatic blurring at viewing edge is minimal. Great optics!

Price drop just after I got delivery.
The binoculars are great, but the price went down just a few days after I got them.

Your proper eye relief to the eye cups is critical to a clear image.
Pretty lite to carry. Decent case, straps and lens protectors. The sports-auto viewing works as described

Solid
Super nice clarity, built to last a lifetime. They are full size and some might not like that for packing, but I don't have any issues with it. Thanks

Well worth the money if used during the hours of daylight.
I bought these to replace an older pair if cheaper binos. My experience with Steiner optics came from using them in the Army. They are well built and for the cost they work very well, however they are not MILSPEC. With that said, the image quality is very good, they gather light well in lowlight conditions, however when a another light source enters the field of view, such as an aircraft or a set of car headlights, the distortion created blurs the field of vision badly. My actual MILSPEC Steiner's don't have that happen. And my Kowa's, Vortex's and Swarovski's don't do that either, but in the light of day they are very, very good.

Outstanding Binoculars with really clear glass and great field of view.
I wanted a better pair of binoculars than the old Bushnell's that I've had for awhile. Decided to get the Steiner 7x50 Military Marine model seeing as they were the civilian version of the tried and true military issued ones. The binoculars are large but do not disappoint. Right away, I could tell they were of quality and heavy duty. The glass is extremely clear, and each of the lenses can be focused to the the individual users eyesight. Great binoculars and would highly recommend. If you were prior service, it also adds a good bit of nostalgia.

For those looking for a mid-size porro prism binocular, this one is for you. Although it is classified as a military marine binocular it can be used for general purposes. Stylish and very well made. Easy to carry around because of its light weight and to further add to its credential, it has fixed focus lens which mean that you just have to focus once on the left and right diopters and you are good to go. Its clarity and brightness is amazing. Although it will hurt your pocket a bit, wait for the price to drop and then snatch it.

I am not sure if these are actually made in Germany. Nowhere on the binocs says they are. But the interviews online with the Steiner company people say these are all "from Germany"... whatever the case, these work well. I love that I do not need to constantly adjust the focus. It is perfect for hunting / scanning. Pucture is crisp and bright as well.
