A pretty good bench drill for DIY jobs. Easy to assemble, just need to know how to install the laser batteries (pop open the laser switch compartment by pressing on plastic catch at the bottom). Gear (belt) changes are a bit tight - slacken off the spring loaded catch and push the motor back and to its side to release belt tension and fiddle barring to get the belt to move to the next groove. This is a budget drill, so don’t expect the heavy build of one that’s double the price, but it’s solid enough, quiet, stable and very good for the money. Sent directly from the factory in Germany and they are very responsive.

The packing was slightly damaged but the unit was intact. As with most similar tools, the instructions are ok but you would need to be familiar with this kind of thing, not for the complete novice. Having used similar devices in the past, I was able to assemble it and adjust speeds etc. if you have never used this kind of thing before I would advise seeking some help. Some written instructions would help, the pictures are only a rough guide. It seems well enough built so should last a long time. Great for amateur DIY work, not for professional use.

Easy to assemble

This drill is extremely good value for money. Takes around 10 mins to assemble although you do need a 13mm spanner which is not provided. Simple to use and change speed with the belt. You need to spot that you squeeze the switch assembly to open it up and insert the batteries for the laser which is very bright. You even get a small vice with it which is adequate for holding small parts. Large items like pieces of wood need to be clamped to the table which also swivels and tilts and has lots of adjustments to it. for the light duty hobbyist it is ideal.

Does not appear to have a warranty. I purchased Nov 26 2024 and the on/off switch has stopped functioning making the drill useless. I have only used about 5 times. So far, I'm having problem trying to get HELP!!! I was pleased originally but I'm not any longer. Can anyone tell me where I might obtain a replacement switch for this machine???

Difficile de trouver l'endroit pour loger les piles du laser...bon après réflexion c'était évident. C'est dans la petite boîte noire de l'interrupteur.
