7770X Maxx at Tires with Foam Inserts (8S-Rated), Sold As A Pair Vehicle

Great tires. Nothing against traxxas but they need venting. Put 4 holes around the outside of the tire to fling water out. I do it with all of my high speed tires that I use outside.

make sure to take your time removing old , and cleaning your bonding surfaces up good, will hold up excellent, I used gorilla glue

I like these tires even if they balloon. They are light weight and give the x-Maxx the best performance. But, next time I will buy the premounted tires and wheels. These weren’t too bad to put on but not worth the savings.

Tires have a good (low) weight. They handle pretty good. They have the perfect amount of slip. The factory glue job, unfortunately, is garbage. These tires need constant upkeep (gluing) to limp them along. In addition, the rubber rips super easy. The foam also goes "flat" super quick, leading to a deflated-looking (and handling) tire. I went with the Proline MX43 tires after these. Although the new tires are heavier and more expensive (initially) they are much more durable. The MX43s almost have too much grip too, but none of that matters since I don't need to worry about them self-destructing every time I pick up speed.

I got the car at the begging of the month and at the 3 week mark my right side blew out. I bought these tires and fixed it and then my left side blew out with in 1 day. so if you want dependable tires buy proline tires.
