Q: Does this have any of the benefits of real honey like antibacterial, anti inflammatory etc?

No, it’s just some natural non-sugar sweetener with flavorings and color and thickeners added to give the taste texture and appearance of honey. People buy this as an alternative to eating honey, which has twice the amount of sugar as regular table sugar. So the health benefits of this product are really in NOT eating all the sugar that is in regular honey. Honey may have some beneficial properties, but it’s really not advisable to eat it in any other than minute quantities, so I’m not sure how much benefit one gets if just eating a drizzle at a time…I prefer to avoid the sugar, the calories, and the carbs and buy a honey substitute such as this one.

Q: Is keto honey to be refrigerated?

Keep in a cool dry place. Refrigeration isn't necessary.

Q: Isn't dextrin a form/type of sugar?

They really need to stop pushing the "resistant dextrin" as if it should be deducted from total carbs. ChocZero's products taste great. But they have an awful track record of kicking people out of ketosis and, even worse, spiking diabetics' blood sugar severely (including mine) because of this ingredient. It's unfortunate, but a lot of companies are using these resistant starches that they're allowed to list as fiber on food labels so they can claim things are keto-friendly for marketing purposes. But reality is much more complicated than that. So if you struggle to stay in ketosis or you need to keep blood sugar under tight control, avoid anything claiming to be low-carb because of the resistant dextrin.
