Sticky but not hard. You can still run a comb thru it. My daughter has very fine and thin blonde hair. She also has lots of baby hairs and this tamed the fly always. She does gymnastics and cheer and we need to be able to get her hair in a tight and clean ponytail and bun as well. This does a great job of getting that sleek style and holding it during meets and competitions. She jumps, flips and is thrown in the air and this still holds. We are in our second year using it and it still works great. When I go to wash it out I wash and rinse twice to get it all out. Not hard to get out but sticky so just to be sure we got it all. I have recommended to many other gymnastics and cheer moms and they have all liked it too.

Arrived shrink wrapped with a cardboard seal under the lid, full jar but it's a very small jar compared to the one my son's hair stylist uses. For the price, this is pretty darn small. Fits in the palm of my very small hand. It's white and goes on thin but slightly sticky, I don't mind at all. Works perfectly for my son's little spiked up thin, short, Caucasian toddler hair. Love, will buy again. Only a small dime size amount is needed for short hair. The stylist used this in his hair Friday morning, didn't fall down til this morning (Sunday) and I literally didn't have to do anything to it. He didn't have a bath but he slept on it, sat in carseat on it, ate and got crumbs in it so I brushed them off gently with my fingertips. This stuff works great. Bathed him tonight and put some of this in his damp hair, looks just like when the stylist did it. He'll be set in the morning when I take my oldest to school!

I use this product here and there still but used to use it more when I had longer hair. The part that I likes about it is that unlike some gels or sprays this does not fix your hair solid. Hence you can form your hair better though it will not keep your hair in place in windy environment or such.

This is my favorite hair cream for our son. It’s easy to use and lasts FOREVER! We haven’t had to buy any for probably a year! It was kind of shocked when I received it and the part that’s normally blue is silver. You only need a pea size amount, rub between hands and style. If you use too much it will look greasy. It’s not good for a hairstyle you don’t want to move like a Mohawk. It’s not strong enough for that. There’s not really a scent. I started using this after the place that cuts my son’s hair uses and sells it. I even use the same brand for my daughter (except it’s the curl calmer) Highly recommend for boys with short hair.

Holds hair in place well. It only takes a little of the styling balm to fix my toddlers hair(which is straight), so the container lasts a while. It also doesn't feel too sticky after it drys. I recommend this and would buy again.

I was looking for a healthier option for my son. I’m so happy wit this hair gel. It keeps his hair perfectly in place. It’s not greasy but it doesn’t harden either. He’s very sensitive and it doesn’t bother his scalp. It wast to wash out and very light weight with no smell

Not sure if they changed the packaging but this is in no way what is pictured in the description. They should really update photos if this is what they are sending out. Still works great but would have preferred the other packaging

Only product that I would use on my toddlers hair

I have gone from using lots of different types of gels in my daughters hair to try and control all the fuzzy flyaway hairs, and when I come to brush her hair the following day there is just lots of white flakey residue. Whereas with this cream, I don't get any of that. This cream is really easy to dispense and goes on to the hair really well. It really does help to control the frizz and doesn't cause the hair to look greasy. I can go days without having to wash the hair and there is no issue when it come to brushing the hair. This is a definite keeper for me.

Discovered this product in BBB in Disneyworld absolutely amazing for taming fly away hair would highly recommend.

Love this product ! The push top, is perfect to keep from getting too much product, it’s the perfect hold for my sons hair daily and my daughter up do hair styles for dance. Washes out easily.

I've used this brand of hair gel before for my tots curly hair and it wasn't a strong hold. So I bought this hoping for a stronger hold and it is! Not good for curly hair, because even thinned with water it can give hair a greasy look, but this would be perfect for toddler boys to spike their hair up or for girls to smooth pony tail fly always.
